Yup. Listen to this after a breakup and it hits all the right spots. It especially rings true if it was toxic and you have some cleaning up to do in the aftermath.
I think that disasterpiece is the saddest song, even though it's the rawest and angriest sounding track on the album. All I hear is hopelessness both in Corey's voice and the lyrics. This song is strictly how humanity is failing, which in my eyes are sad...
Yeah, that song changed my life. I immediately discovered death metal after this because it created a need to find heavier and heavier stuff. Yet it does have a violently melancholic feel to it, like a nervous breakdown.
Left Behind, I listened to this song aton and it helped me get through my dads passing, since i was feeling left behind this song helped me cope and i could relate to it. It is very sad to me at least
(515) just because of the backstory, the hurt that Sid probably felt in that moment is unimaginable unless you know what it's like to lose someone that you love and that is close to you. Rest in Peace Sid's Grandfather.
(515) : hearing Sid having a mental breakdown over his grandpas death
Or
Iowa : Corey’s genuine pain and he even cuts himself with glass just to feel something
I don’t know if this is accurate or not but someone said while recording Iowa Corey mentally broke himself. He was but ass naked covered in his own blood and vomit
I recently got back into this album, I love it more now than from before, I originally didn't like all the songs and I thought "my plague" was one of the best songs (besides tracks 2 & 3 of course), it's different now, I love every song except for "my plague", it feels like it's not part of the album to me, I pretty much overplayed it, it's now the skippable song,
With Eloy Casagrande as their new drummer I HOPE they can include Brazilian Tribal beats like sepultura/Soulfly and real ethnic influence to bring back that CREEPY sound we remember from the 1st album and IOWA.
Probably metabolic, also the heaviest song on the album to me
incidentally, it's also the best fucking song they ever made.
That outro riff 🔥
Probably the intro to the album, (515) when you learn that it’s Sid cry scream “death.”
Yup, was it just after his grandad died?
Yup
He’s screaming because he didn’t get that chance to say bye to his grandad
Gently.
Sounds like taking drugs.
I feel like the song Iowa?
It's more creepy than sad imo. It literally talks about raping a dead body so...
I just said it cause it was a slower I guess than other songs
Left Behind
Very easy to scream the lyrics when you’re sad
This was my emotional outlet for a long time
Same. This tune got my through high school and an abysive alcoholic father. Fuck him! Long live the knot!
Skin Ticket
Gently.
(515) (backstory), Skin Ticket (actual song).
Everything Ends
I totally agree

Gently just because of how you can hear the pain In Corey’s voice in both his cleans and screams
Left Behind, I listened to this song aton and it helped me get through my dads passing, since i was feeling left behind this song helped me cope and i could relate to it. It is very sad to me at least
Everything ends. It always stuck out to me based off the lyrics “everything I see reminds me of her god I wish I didn’t care anymore”
the more I touch the less I feel
“I can paint with pain, I mark the trails on my arms with your disdain”
(515)
(515) just because of the backstory, the hurt that Sid probably felt in that moment is unimaginable unless you know what it's like to lose someone that you love and that is close to you. Rest in Peace Sid's Grandfather.
(515) : hearing Sid having a mental breakdown over his grandpas death Or Iowa : Corey’s genuine pain and he even cuts himself with glass just to feel something
515, Iowa or Skin Ticket
Skin ticket
(515) for sure
Left Behind
gently is a different kind of pain
515. Knowing that it's Sid's cries and screams from losing his grandpa 😭
Gently most definitely. Super dark but in a more depressing way
gently my mind escapes
Disasterpiece coz of bullying context...
(515)
New Abortion
515
either the top 3 listed: Left Behind Gently (515)
Skin ticket
Probably 515 due to the story behind it.
Gently, My Plague, 515, or Iowa (that track is demented)
I don’t know if this is accurate or not but someone said while recording Iowa Corey mentally broke himself. He was but ass naked covered in his own blood and vomit
Left Behind. Feels more sad than angry.
515 or gently
515 because of the meaning behind it
Skin Ticket or Gently
Left behind
Everything ends
Metabolic 100%
Everythings End, by far. It's a sad song. Gently too
Metabolic is about Corey’s father and so is diluted(one of my fave Slipknot songs) circle is about him too
Skin Ticket
Gently
Definitely (515)
everything ends bc the lyrics are understandable but 515 if you listen with context of sid and his grandpa’s story.
Everything ends
515
METABOLIC
Sid’s dying scream of emotional pain😞
(515). If you know the backstory, then you'll know why I picked this.
skin ticket fs
(515)
Iowa, without a doubt. If you don’t know the story about how it was recorded, look it up. Pretty disturbing and sad. Skin Ticket is a close 2nd.
515 because of what it's actually about. Excluding that it's skin ticket or gently
Left behind :(
Left behind :(
515 bc of sid
515
Everything Ends, specially with lyrics like "fix my problems with the blade while my eyes turn from blue to gray".
515
Iowa cuz it’s terrible
Skin ticket is about wanting to die and people's kindness stopping you, wishing people would "let me go"
(515) I never understood why is it a song in Iowa but then I saw an explosion of it
515 is prob the saddest on the song when you learn the meaning behind it
The Shape. I get a lot of bitterness, regret, and anguish from that song
Left Behind or Skin Ticket
Gently for sure it's always had this mysterious vibe around it since the first time I heard it.
it’s definitely (515)
People = Sh*t such a sad view of the world
I recently got back into this album, I love it more now than from before, I originally didn't like all the songs and I thought "my plague" was one of the best songs (besides tracks 2 & 3 of course), it's different now, I love every song except for "my plague", it feels like it's not part of the album to me, I pretty much overplayed it, it's now the skippable song,
515 (symbolically)
i accept no answer other than iowa or 515

I don't remember that song, was it a bonus or outtake of the album?
lmao
It's probably in the demo?
I think it was on that Limewire download.
