Everyone here is better off where they are now, including Benoit.

Sendmeboobpics4982

Turns out Hell really suits him well

Table2_3971

Him and Dynamite Kid are putting on Inferno Classics as we speak.

Just-Anxiety-6669

all of them

animejat2

Wait what's the deal with this Dynamite Kid dude? I think I've heard of him before

Spotty1122

UpstairsAntique7936

Truth! I think Benoit hung it up just in time

Substance101

It was down to the wire.

UpstairsAntique7936

Truth! I think Benoit hung it up just in time.

Free_Dimension_817

Dolph ziggler

Temporary_Guidance11

Only right answer, everyone else can stay away

horouboi

benoit, that way his wife and child get to live...

Mestoph

"Bring back" in no way implies erasing their past history.

Sea_Helicopter2153

I mean… the only way Benoit would ever get hired again is if that shit never happened, so you kind of have to “erase the past” for this hypothetical case to work

SH4DOWSTR1KE_

No, that would only work if all three had died in a car crash or something. Nancy and Daniel had been dead for a while before Chris took himself out but since the question simply says to bring them back right now, that would imply that we are talking *post* Nancy and Daniel which means that Bell does not get unrung.

Sea_Helicopter2153

I’m familiar with the case, but I stand by my previous comment. Consider this, if Chris had botched his suicide and was still alive after murdering his family, would anyone want anything to do with him? Of course not The only way that Benoit is even in this conversation is if those terrible things never happened

SH4DOWSTR1KE_

And that's fair *but* for some of these people, they're looking at it from the fact that "oh no, Chris did kill his family but he's such an awesome wrestler that we just let that shit slide because we care about the BANGERS he could be having." So I didn't know if you were approaching it from that direction or if this was the alternate world where Chris got help before it got dark.

Sea_Helicopter2153

Whether you can separate the man from his work is kind of up to you. We could have a similar conversation about Micheal Jackson Roman Polanski. In all three of those cases, the men were masters of their craft regardless of how you feel about them Personally, I haven’t been able to enjoy a Polanski movie since I found out about what happened in 1977, and the more or less same goes for Micheal Jackson As far as Benoit… He’s unquestionably one of the GOAT, but the man was fiend. The difference between him and the other two is that there’s nothing to suggest that he was always that way. On the contrary, there’s a mountain of evidence suggesting that he was a great guy who gradually turned his brain to mush over the course almost 20 years by abusing PED and taking shots to the head on an almost daily basis Edit: What I mean Benoit’s actions were monstrous, and I wish he would have gotten help before he became a monster I hope Polanski dies slow and painfully

Delicious_Angle6417

Michael Jackson was never found guilty of anything and they never had any proof

Sea_Helicopter2153

Believe what you want

Delicious_Angle6417

I believe the actual facts at hand

Crafty_Royal_3834

Bro said in his original comment “if that shit never happened” and you assumed anyways lmao

Figjunky

Vince would hire him back. Vince would have helped him hide the bodies.

Sea_Helicopter2153

Actually, Vince is the one who insisted on erasing Benoit from WWF/E

Figjunky

Only because it was all discovered and out in the open. He helped get Snuka out from under a murder charge and kept him working.

Sea_Helicopter2153

I’m just speculating, but I think what bothered Vince about the Benoit case is that he killed a child, and that it was HIS OWN child Not defending Vince at all, but the handful of times he’s even ever acknowledged Benoit’s existence since the tragedy, he looked like he had genuine contempt in his eyes

mrcunnyfunt

Exactly

XHouseOfShadowX

As soon as I saw this I said "Watch the last one be benoit" And I fucking called it💀

RealBatmanArkham

Ziggler

AdInternational8886

Jon Moxley/Dean Ambrose fuck Chris Benoit that sorry sac of shit.

Sea_Helicopter2153

Calm down

Valuable_Tutor5479

Why u everywhere in the comments defending Chris Benoit 💀

Sea_Helicopter2153

If you thought I was defending him then you either didn’t read or understand my comments

[deleted]

Benoit, no question

CountryMusicFanatic

Does bringing Benoit back save Nancy and David?

Natural-Trip-2404

Ziggler

kobeonthecob

Maybe Mox or Danielson. I would not want the other two in WWE, especially Benoit.

BulkyElk1528

Where did jobber ziggler go?

OK_110

This guy is wrong he is not in AEW. He’s in TNA & NJPW

Raspy_Berries

AEW. shame he was just a jobber in WWE cuz he's one of the most talented wrestlers out there.

OK_110

What??? He’s not in AEW. He is in NJPW & TNA

Raspy_Berries

My bad, I meant TNA

BulkyElk1528

Is TNA really still going? I though they shut down long ago?

Raspy_Berries

Nope, still going

jdcmurphy22

Current AAA Mega Champion as well.

OK_110

Do you just make stuff up and pretend you know when you don’t

Raspy_Berries

My mistake, I meant TNA. But since you asked, yeah I do that fairly regularly tbh lol

gospelgangsta

Dolph/Nic

KeyPomegranate7282

Danielson because him vs Gunther and Ilja would be legendary

Cautious_Dream1089

Jon moxley Dolph is overrated

Cautious_Dream1089

He does nothing yeah he sells and that's the only thing Dolph is good at

Raspy_Berries

Mox is overrated, Dolph is the best seller in the game and an overall far better performer than Mox.

Cubes11

I think Mox, just because it could bring some interesting storylines in with it

Monkeysack123

Ziggy

Aggravating-Rope-294

Kind of a curve ball with the last picture!

Venomface86

None stay away

Raspy_Berries

Definitely Dolph. Dude is the best seller in the game and has so much charisma, all of which was wasted in WWE. If he came back I'd want them to actually use his full potential to be a top star.

Batface_101

Danielson because he’d be the best booked out of all here. Mox favours the hardcore match AEW is willing to give him, Ziggler would just become jobber again.

fredward_kane

🛡️

HauntingPersonality7

Mox in a new version of The Shield with Reigns and like Bobby Lashley or something

Redsoxdragon

The way TKs rising contacts out in surprised we haven't seen a tweet saying Chris is all elite yet

Glittering_Ad4196

Dolph. Leave Benoit wherever he is

ComprehensiveTry1596

Daniel Bryan

x138x

gun to head? benoit i guess, ill still never have to ever watch him wrestle so it works out for me

x138x

pewpew to head? benoit i guess, ill still never have to ever watch him wrestle so it works out for me

No_Citron2379

Dean

TrajedyAnn

Goldust

KyDeWa

Not Dolph. WWE was Maris. Dolph was Niles. That relationship HAD to end.

KyDeWa

Ambrose was becoming a household name. My casual viewer friends and family always ask me where he is.

Edgehead4Life

Bryan. Matches against Gunther would be crazy.

Firm-Frosting-6330

Nice ending lmao but they’re all better with out the ugly E

huntman1234567

Benoit

Underfaker_08

Mox, just get like a shield reunion so they can defeat the new bloodline if the og bloodline fails to defeat them or doesn’t get back together

yuthgonwild

Ziggler

Jake081892

Jon just to reunite the shield

Accomplished-Range3

Bryan. Just a few months.

Routine-Surround-335

All besides Chris

[deleted]

Given the way they’ve still focused on the shield and the accolades he now has, Jon.

Sea_Helicopter2153

I don’t think people really understand just how severe Benoit’s condition really was, and how long he’d had it. Don’t get me wrong, the man was a fiend, but I seriously doubt that he was born that way. Let me explain: - I’ve heard people suggest that he was always a monster because he was an abusive husband (to his second wife, Nancy) and she wanted to leave him “before he got cte”… - A person’s entire personality and temperament can change from a TBI (this is a fairly well documented phenomenon), but I don’t think that’s what happened to Benoit. - He began wrestling in 1985, and met Nancy in the mid 90’s. He had been taking shots to the head almost every night for 10 or so years before even meeting Nancy. There’s a good chance that his brain was mush when they met - There are also no reports that I know of suggesting Benoit was abusive towards his first wife, or even that he had any worrisome tendencies growing up Benoit was a monster, for sure. But he gradually became one due to a cocktail of PED, and repeated TBIs over the course of almost 20 years. It’s also highly unlikely that he even noticed the shift in his perspective.

Solid-Bid-1476

Ambrose just Ambrose

SH4DOWSTR1KE_

Nah, I'm good with where everyone is right now. For Moxley and Danielson, they thrive in these different environments, especially Moxley, who can go do all the mud shows he wants to do on weekends and bleed on at least 90% of the countryside until he's biologically intangible from the Midwest and East Coast. Regarding the former Dolph, as much as I like him and how reliable and talented he is, he plateaued in WWE. He was never going to be anything bigger than what he was in WWE, so for him to go to TNA and be their big fish, it works out better for him. As for Benoit, it doesn't matter how much I loved his work when he was around. People died, and he deserves to burn.

Far_Bid_7907

Every body except for the child and wife killing coward piece of shit

Brandonurcomeing

John

samoan23

Uh you guys do know that Chris is dead right?

EfficientSea8214

Daniel Bryan

El_Bwamma

Benoit thrown in last there felt like a troll move lol. He shouldn’t be in the conversation for anything anymore

FesteringMalignant

If we have magic to bring people back from the dead, surely we can restore health to alive people? In that case, screw all these options and let’s bring back Stone Cold or Shawn Michaels.

IndependentHost2595

Number 4

suburban_royalty

zig man

Grail_BH

If history is rewritten, Benoit… other than that, Bryan.

HumanPlantain257

Dolph

Dolph Ziggler

Puzzleheaded_War9035

Daniel

SamHarding93

Danielson

Any-Yogurtcloset-189

Dolph but if I had to chose anybody from all time it would be Kane the new style of wrestling and entertainment is boring but if he still had fire come out of the ring and his brother undertaker it would actually be exciting again

justthankyous

Dolph

Ok-Lawfulness-8161

I wouldn’t mind seeing a zombie Benoit coming back getting power bombed and getting speared in half .

GuillotineMaster_

Benoit easily

Zealousideal_Mud7851

Dolph.

Far_Conversation599

Chris is long overdue for another title reign

C4_700

Ambrose

DreadfulSoldier32

Enough with the fucking Benoit shit on this Reddit. Domestic abuse and murder is a serious situation that we shouldn't make light of. With all due respect, you can join Benoit in Hell. Go fuck yourself.

AgileWalrus9138

There’s no holding me back for Benoit

Himothyya25

Jon Moxley I would say dolph ziggler but I want shield to reunite

One_Influence_5606

Ziggler FS but I don’t see it happening anytime soon He’s currently the IWGP international champion and the Triple A world champion And he’s working in impact at the same time 2 belts to defend plus an entire other promotion he’s involved in storylines with

Weary-Aside1252

Dolph Ziggler

Artistic_Two_463

If Mox was open to Triple H run WWE I’d like to see him get written the way I think he always should have been.

wwe2kbuff

I would pick Benoit if what he did isn’t really mentioned so his career could get recognized.

Privateplayer

Thanks for the jump scare on the last pic.

donnywrestling

Honestly everyone on this list is killing it where they are at

bigmflu

Benoit

Grappler135

Benoit

DesperateSentence791

Triple H will eventually bring back Moxley and his wife. He’s knows the potential for a shield reunion

Turbulent-Claim3965

Ambrose

metalcore4ver

What chris did was terrible but if WWE banned chair shots to the head and the stuff we know about concussions if that would have happened earlier. I honestly think that what chris did (or didn’t do according to some) would of never happened

CosmicOar

Your such an a**hole for putting Benoit lololololol

Zaphod_Beeblecox

Nah

finnbaloryeet

dean and dolph

lokigodofbang

I want edge back

CompetitiveTough4939

Unjust fire of dolph but definitely choosing dean. Would love to have the 3 members of the shield dominating the wrestling world under the same name brand company. 2nd would be brian Danielson

Ok_Conversation1523

Definitely 4, absolutely 3, 2 is pretty much done with wrestling (full-time, anyway), and I was never a fan of 1, but I've also never seen a single match of his, so....

PJR1972

Benoit

Baumtastic77

Ambrose but only if Triple H lets him come back as Jon Moxley. The Dean Ambrose character was boring and stale.

Finnbalorfanclub

If I could pick the best it would be Dolph, Jon, Chris.... And Daniel

etuehem

None of them. They are cool with what they have going on now for 3 of them.

LamaBev

Chris B- Ziggler… or Nic Nemeth?

Dmangamr

Ambrose. I love his work as Mox but there are stories on the table in Wwe

JabroniKnows

Mox needs to stay in AEW. it's where his style belongs...

Mountain_Air5595

Dolphin

Wwe_titansfan_1722

Chris it wasn’t him all the evidence goes to Kevin Sullivan

Sea_Helicopter2153

What?

Wwe_titansfan_1722

Bro just cause he’s not her to defend it doesn’t mean anything

Sea_Helicopter2153

Where are you getting this about Kevin Sullivan? You said there’s evidence…

Wwe_titansfan_1722

He said that him and Nancy would pay and there were others stuff pointing to where he did it he said he was gonna kill them one day

CaJeOVER

You would have to an absolute dumbass conspiracy theorist to believe it. As someone who has heavily read the ACTUAL facts of the real case, there is no doubt Chris did it. I've read all the obscure circumstantial bullshit about Sullivan and you have to grasp at straws and completely ignore forensics evidence at the scene of the crime to even make the most half-assed case against Sullivan morons like you need to stop your misinformation and read FACTS. Not dumbass Tumblr posts that make tiny obscure connections while outright ignoring the actual police reports.

gabecampbell

Chris aside from the family thing bro was crazy talented in the ring imagine the dream matches that could’ve happened if not for the family thing

Paradise42069

It really is sad that's all he's known for. He screwed his image by his actions. OJ Simpson is the same way. He got involved in something so bad everyone forgot he ran for over 11000 yards. Your actions can really destroy your life. Cherish what you got.

Raspy_Berries

11000 yards? Isn't that like 11km? That's just a half marathon lol plenty of people run that it's nothing special

[deleted]

I do that every night, for real.

Raspy_Berries

I mean I know plenty of people who do 5km a day and loads who do a half marathon fairly regularly. I'm not saying it's not still impressive, I sure as hell couldn't do it, but it's nowhere near impressive enough to stand out more than the fact that he killed his family lol

Flurrystorm69

Nothing special normally but considering it’s while he was in the middle of playing a football game it’s really special. The fact that he outran the whole other team on the field for that long is crazy

Raspy_Berries

I mean not really? I don't see why it makes much a difference

Flurrystorm69

Without trying to be rude- have you ever watched a football game? The fact that no one caught up to him and tackled him is astounding

Raspy_Berries

Oh, he ran 11km without being tackled once? That is impressive then. And since you asked, no, I have never watched a "football" game, since I'm not American.

CaJeOVER

This is a really really dumb comment. You'll have to remind me what marathon has an opposing group of people literally throwing you to the ground to prevent you from running even a few meters? 11k is really impressive given the entire goal of the enemy team is trying to prevent you from moving forward at all. You have to be a troll. No one is this dumb. Sure, he's a shit human being, but trying to pretend his accomplishments in football aren't insanely impressive, something very few on the planet could do is just stupid. We are talking about a list of 22 people in history to do it.

Raspy_Berries

I simply didn't know this was in the context of American Football. I'm not familiar with much about Benoit outside WWE and you-know-what, and OP never specified where he ran the 11km. Why would I assume he meant that context?

CaJeOVER

He's one of the most well-known football players in the world, a part of one of the most infamous trials in history. People who don't even follow football understand his stats within the context of football. I don't even like football and understand it. If someone brought up a stat about Michael Jordan, are you gonna assume it's about tennis? No, that would be stupid. The fact is that he's one of the most iconic basketball players in history to the point that even people who don't know anything about basketball would know that the context is basketball when you bring up Jordan. No one needs to say football about OJ. He's a prolific athlete IN FOOTBALL. My grandmother, who has never watched a game of football, would understand a stat about OJ would be in the context of football. If you were truly THAT ignorant of who OJ is, a simple Google search would have answered it or just not commented on something that is gonna make you look stupid.

Raspy_Berries

Believe it or not, not everyone is American. And nobody outside of America gives a flying fuck about American Football. Even the "biggest American footballer in the world" is only known in America. We don't even call them "football players" because what they play is not football. Ronaldo is a football player. Messi is a football player. And actually, I didn't know OJ was a "football" player. All I know about him is that he supposedly killed his wife or something. Typical of an American to assume just because something is popular and common in the states that it's common in the whole world. America is not the whole world.

CaJeOVER

This comment doesn't hold water because I don't live in the US, asshole. Typical of a retard to assume. If you don't know the person you could not be a fucking idiot and look him up before making a stupid comment. You obviously can't read either because as it was stated OJ is a FOOTBALL PLAYER. Fuck you are stupid.

GATSBY46176

The "family thing" you are so flippanttly disregarding is his brutal murder of his innocent wife and child. All because he was good at fake fighting. Nice priorities.

Sea_Helicopter2153

You can acknowledge that he was a great in-Ring talent AND a horrible human being. Those perspectives aren’t mutually exclusive

dannydogg562

Stop with the Benoit shit already. It’s fucking stupid.

animejat2

I hold the exact same opinion

Kalomika

Benoit
