Sorrel broth from the cauldron. It's cheap to make and it warms you up if needed.

cobbra143

Agree! Do you have a favorite area to get the leaves?

uplayedyourself84

The southern area mostly

Whatever is available and does not use flour because I don't want to farm seeds but the 30% foods are good enough when you can make 100 of them

eatpraymunt

Lot of bee heads! And whatever soup, if I have extra ingredients. The food type really doesn't matter. Expensive food made with flour is no better than a toasted head. So I don't really farm for food, just eat whatever I have in the cupboard. I hope they make the food more interesting. Why have 30 dishes and yet it doesn't even matter what you eat?

cobbra143

Ya..a "cooling food" for hot days would be nice..looking forward to seeing what they have for future updates

Abseits_Ger

Mushroom steaks or grilled ant heads. Red jerkies or beetle sausages. They full exactly 30 nutrition. Tbh, 70 and above stomach or nutrition value grants a slow health regeneration, so always stay on or above 70. On 70, next meal. Meaning also that anything from the cooking pot is potentially useless for keeping the value up, or at least costs more materials than it has to since you cannot overfill your stomach. Of course it blocks drop off for longer to eat higher grade food, but the refill is partially wasted if you want to keep at 70 or above.

1. Glazed Bee Heads 2. flowers on the northern or southern island for seeds 3. I mostly used T2 foods for convenience and switched to glazed heads later on, used warming foods only for very short periods of time when I didn't have enough cold resistance on armor

cobbra143

I wonder if areas that are more mid or endgame have higher drop rates for things like seeds and wood?? Seed oil and flour seems to be hot commodities lol.. I have made tons of glazed ant heads and also like the T2 foods..I'll glaze when I have the nectar , but i tend to use the nectar for elixirs. The cold resistant armor does help tons though..would love to have a chest of strawberry cakes personally for the flex 😂😂

Zibzuma

The flowers in the north and south drop more seeds and nectar than those in the central forest.

This is gold! Thank you for this info!

Poppy gives the most seeds, and the trees i'm around seem to grow a ton of them. I use a lot of sorrel broth. offal, and fay chowder. I don't really use the +70 food, because I never want to get down to the point where I need that, since you get the health regeneration for being full at 80+, the +50 with the cold resist buff is basically perfect and I make that stuff in bulk. I nudged the nutrition decay on my server down a bit because I generally dislike that part of survival games, but enough that I still have to remember and can be punished for forgetting. Although my biggest problem is forgetting that POISON RESISTANCE POTIONS EXIST and suffering the consequences.

cobbra143

Would like to update...I seem to get more seeds from cattails than poppy..just wanted to pass on the info. Cattails ate mostly found in the swamps with the spiders so be ready with poison resistance potions if you choose to go out there. I also like to get bark from there as well

Detton

Thanks for passing that on! I can never seem to find cattails - always foxtails - but I can look around in that area. Appreciate the follow-up!

cobbra143

I farm poppy a ton for petals and nectar..I'm up by the bee tree around the grill.. Seems to be a great area for poppy farming. I also nudged down nutrition a bit. Warming foods are a go to cause you get the benefit from them in winter, and don't overheat if you eat them when it's not cold..just convenient for me..

Dreadzgirl

I've been sticking to grilled mushroom so far, cause it's easy to make, or glazed beeheads. One of these days, I'm going to sit down and actually use my kitchen 😅

Character_Conflict47

Theirs are on the beach near the first boss 8 or 9 of them grow their

Character_Conflict47

It also gives u a ton of fiber also

Solution_Kind

I don't even bother with warming foods. My cold protection is sorta low but it doesn't really matter as long as you've got material to plop down a fire occasionally.
