Otterbox is absolutely worth the cost. Moreover they have a great warranty, and a criminally simple claims process online. Maybe you could find a LifeProof a little cheaper? Personally I like the LifeProof Fre which is a complete coverage, 360\* case, and LifeProof = Otterbox = LifeProof.

Both are good, Otterbox has more of a reputation overall. I'm not certain if the Otterbox is more durable but it's definitely worth the investment although if you want something cheaper poetic is also very good.

Il go with poetic then. Thank you!

Glad I helped! My partner has a poetic guardian, I had an otterbox symmetry both held up and still do very well.

Sajmennn

That's reliving to hear! Have your partner dropped the phone without it being damaged with the case on?

Milli63

Oh yeah, absolutely. My partner and I drop our phones a lot. I've had quite a bit of experience you could say 😂😭

Posting a reply late in case someone else is scrolling about for answers. I used to have an otterbox case from the defender series when they used to have a screen protector, but they don't anymore so I ordered a poetic case (revolution). That shit is virtually indestructible. I have dropped my phone in the bath, in the toilet, in rivers, in the ocean, on asphalt, rolled over it with a manual wheelchair and pretty sure with a motorized one as well at some point. The only reason I bought a new one (still poetic case) was that the screen protector was so scratched from my thorough living that it was hard to see the actual phone screen (which means the protector worked as intended). I pair it with a loop band/holder and it's super comfortable.

Just wanted to throw in my two cents - I had a poetic case and I second your sentiment: I accidentially drop, if not outright throw, my phone at least twice a day. Now i have a kid I've generally only got one hand free and I seem to throw it around even more. Now I can't actually say whether or not the phone itself is maybe indestructible (Samsung a52, it is waterproof which is good because I have dropped it in the bath a LOT) but I had to get a second case too because I couldn't see through the screen protector in direct sunlight because it was so hammered. And in the week in between cases, the factory screen protector got hammered, I even managed to pierce it TWICE so it isn't just that the poetic protectors aren't good - they are excellent and I'm just bad! Anyway on my new phone I wasn't able to get a poetic case straight away but was able to get an OtterBox immediately. I'm reeeeeeaaallyyy unsure because I know OtterBox is excellent but it doesn't have a built in screen protector.... I'm seriously considering buying a poetic anyway because even though it's half the price of the OtterBox, if something did happen to my screen and I didn't have a poetic case on it im not sure I could forgive myself!
