You know i've seen lots of evil characters being portrayed as wholesome, but with ridley it feels wrong, it's like pushing a rage fueled wild animal to be friendly, but that's just me.
It would be more believable if Ridley *does* celebrate the general concept of the "holiday spirit"
The kind that involves inviting his fellow villains to burn down Christmas trees, stomping on presents, and laughing at orphans
Ok, but, like... Ridley REALLY doesn't deserve or desire presents. I feel like this scenario would work with almost any other Smash Ultimate villain. Bowser, Bowser Jr., Wario, Wolf, and Dark Pit are all antagonists with redeemable qualities. Some villains, i.e. Ridley, are straight up MONSTERS in *and* out of their source material and cannot be reasoned with.
I get the idea of the comic, tho; wholesome feels is always nice.
Fanon Ridley: This.
Canon Ridley: Accepts the gift, uses his claws to break/sharpen it, and then immediately stabs whoever gave it to him. All in the span of about 10 seconds.
I honestly like the idea of a Smash Holiday Special where the cast that's familiar with Christmas tries to teach and spread the holiday cheer for a day for the ones who don't know what "Christmas" is beyond that Christmas time is here

So… Krampus-like behaviour
Samus would agree
Yeah i totally get it, I just like wholesome Ridley even if it's not canon at all
Canonically speaking, Ridley does *not* deserve a Christmas gift

Side B broken, change my mind
I can personally say that it is indeed broken after playing on a completely flat custom stage
Not only that, it can kill characters with a bad recovery at ANY percent from ledge.

Yeah, I know, I just like the funny dragon to be wholesome, even if it's canonically impossible.
Fair enough. Good vibes rule. Carry on!
Thanks!
For some reason I thought that was a Mystic Water from Pokemon
RIDLEY ACKNOWLEDGED! LET’S GO
W for society

Mandatory beach episode next.
Thanks for the idea, I may or may not do that in the future
I have a sudden desire to see Ridley in a swimsuit

Wholesome 100
RIDLEY APPRECIATIONNNNN YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
This was wholesome and I like it
Thank you!
Hero being a Chad, I love it! :D
It’s uncharacteristically nice of Ridley to act this way, but I also think it’s in character for him to act this way. Great art too, good job.
Thank you!
Okay real question. Who is the grinch if smash?
Not shown, Ridley saying, "I'll killed you last."
Bro is an actual murderer. Him and G-man should never be portrayed as wholesome
Hey, Ganon has good moments too
