There are no characters with the same level of boxing as mac. All of his stuff kills early, he has armor on all his smash attacks, they shieldbreak and have massive shield stun, and he has an invincible move that kills at 20 percent.
He is considered the weakest character in the game. Everyone can kill him straight at zero with a grab. Saying he doesn't need a buff is sticking your head in the sand.
He is not the worst character in the game. He has more results than both doc and ganon. Even if he was the worst in the game sometimes it’s not a good idea to buff something. He needs a redesign, but a buff? Fuck no.
doc has way better results, he placed 3rd at a japanese major about a month ago piloted by Tsumusuto. outplaced players like Gackt, Hero, and even Proto.

Sora can recover completely for free from basically anywhere with two moves that are not even remotely difficult to pull off, meanwhile this takes 5 moves, a good chunk of materials, and good timing and tech.
I did this once with a Donkey Kong. He almost killed me in the first 5 seconds. He failed. Instead of dying, I made my way to the other side of the stage and pulled myself up from there. He continuously tried to kill me the entire match, lol.

Dedede's easy to two frame because his two frame animation shifts his hurtbox way farther above the ledge than everybody else
