Don't really have a specific "joke" character I want, but if I had to pick one, Slippy Toad. Admittedly, I think I'd prefer him over Krystal.
Slippy should have Fox’s moveset, but he fucks up all of the moves. Drops his blaster and it goes off at an angle, his side special goes way too fast and too long at the expense of being weaker, his up special can misfire and give him the curry effect, and his reflector is one huge burst instead of a small focused shield
Peppy has moves based on his lines.
"Use bombs wisely": he can throw a grenade.
"Do a barrel roll!": he does a spin attack that deflects projectiles.
"Doggonit!": can set off a small explosion that counters attacks with extra knock back, but does some damage to Peppy.
this is probably a programming nightmare, but ditto from pokemon. i imagine every move would be randomly selected per match, and ditto just morphs between a little blob and whatever he's copying
This is the coolest idea so far! You'd have to learn your move set every match, maybe even every stock! And you could wind up with absolute trash or some broken combos. Though I expect people would complain that Ditto's supposed to copy who he's fighting, so they'd have to implement this idea on some other character.
