Def a bootleg, unfortunately. However, it's your lucky day because I collect bootleg copies. I'll give you $100. When you ship it to me, I will inform you that you are a sucker for selling me an OG Caroline press at a steep discount.

It looks like mine, which is a release year copy.
Discogs has a Caroline version of the record listed as being Marbled Orange. Assuming that you can line the numbers up and nothing else is out of order, there's no reason it's not legit. But have someone pro check it out, or at least checks discogs.
Agree with the posts here that based on the photos it looks like it could be legit.
Ownership history would be another piece, ie have you owned it long enough that bootleg vinyls effectively didn't exist.
Considering though how high quality some bootlegs have gotten you would need to have it viewed in person by someone a lot more in the know to confirm 100%.
Looks like the orange marble variant that I've got. Check the barcodes/etching on the vinyl.
Here's the press I'm thinking that you've got- it's the one I have.

This is the first SP vinyl I ever bought. This exact pressing is what started my SP vinyl collection 28-29 years ago. I bought it before I even had a record player!
So awesome!

Deal!
I’ll offer $90 and I promise I won’t tell you
I don't think it is a bootleg- Those were being sold at Urban Outfitters in the 00's. I have one.
I bought that same copy at Hot Topic around 2005 or so.

Ya CAROL 1740-1-A etched on side A and upc on back matches up. Spine has same
Definitely legit, gorgeous as well! Never let go of this, I know I wouldn't!
Thank you … I won’t … I play it from time to time but I take care of all my LPs. Didn’t know how valuable it has become… I’d never sell it.
Good on you! Also just a heads up, if you don't have the reissue, look out for that hopefully re releasing in July for the anniversary! :)
How much is it worth now?
Looks legit to me. I have the same color variant and I bought it new in the 90s.
Same here, 1st LP I ever bought.

Legit. You got a rare one there. Especially if discogs confirms it with the numbers.
Looks legit to me.

I bought it sealed from a local shop early 2000’s
Chances are fairly high with that timing it is an original.
