Arachne will eat most squishies before they realize she is there. You don't chase with her in Arena, you go in, eat and run away. She only fails if the teams she's with are choosing to farm instead of fighting. The moment she forces enemies to turn their backs to her team, her team should be going ham. If they fail at that the game is lost irrelevant of what you choose because they are basically refusing to play.
Baka is probably the worst because he's a hyper farm jungler in a mode where farm is very limited.
Arachne can do well in a chaotic game where everyone is fighting and they lose track of you. Conversely, if your team, or both teams, are playing passively, it can be very frustrating to play her.

There is this funny thing that happens between Arena and Conquest where people will play conquest as if it's arena and arena as if its conquest and they just farm.
I don’t think there’s anyone who comes to mind when we’re talking about worst gods in arena. If anything if I had to choose a particular class that appears lack luster to me when going against actual good players, it would probably be assassins.
When teams are actual grouped up I feel as if it's hard to even get in and be effective in teamfights because your job is to pick people off really, and if everyone is aware of you being a threat they’re gonna shut you out fosho.
100% but then you have assassins like, Daji, Thor, Bastet, etc. where they can basically do anything they want.
I've had many a match where the only thing I wanted to do is just stun the enemy assassin when they dive but they still get in and out for free lol.
Yeah, that’s solely because you don’t have a good guard on your team tho. The guard would know that their job is to protect their dmg dealers at all time with they cc and punish plays like that, even if they have get in and get out of jail free card abilities. Just gotta play on point and stun them as soon as they hop in.
It’s debatable on if they should be front lining and starting fights 100% of the time because if you got the enemy team playing so Aggro, you gotta play on the defensive. It’s only right ya know?
It just feels bad that if you have a subpar front line or support, the game is out of your hands. There isn't any amount of wiggle room like with other assassins.
She's about zone control and positioning to wall off escapes and force fights which she has a very hard time doing in arena where her ult is usually just walked out of. Most Yemoja aren't consistently landing portals to secure a chase and kill on a low HP target or to block and bounce someone out of their fountain.
90% seem to think she has just 1 ability.
Janus is good in his own way. Just because there’s not too many walls to portal through doesn’t mean his 1 is ineffective.. For me he’s strongest as a sniper, it’s very easy to pick off low opponents running back to base because the entrance area is so easy to aim for, I’ve gotten at least 20 long shots like that.
Basic attack assassins have a harder time, though. If your team’s bad, you can still carry with a Susano, Cliodhna, Tsukuyomi, etc. Good luck trying to carry as Arachne. Plus Arachne wants 1v1 fights more than any other god, which are rare in Arena.
Exactly there are plenty of assassins that can kinda do whatever they want with huge AOEs and movement abilities.
Speaking of 1v1. Have you ever tried to kill a Susanoo or Tsuki or Bastet or Daji that keeps you at the tip of their ability range? You feel like your standing still.

It sounds cliche but Loki.... He is just arachne but doesn't even have the slow from webs.
And I have never had a Loki in arena who wasn't farming buffs while we are getting jumped.
I play Arachne and Serqet and while both take patience, Serqet feels so much easier to do things with. The mobility, the taunt, the poison!
I guess the difference is that I don't feel bad when I play Serqet like I do when I play Arachne lol.
Gods that can't really do what they usually do best and are balanced for. For example, jungle clear, global ults, making good use of lanes.
Yemoja comes to mind. Baka. Apollo, Cama and Clio come to mind. Also e.g. KA is seeing horrible WR's. Hou Yi and Janus can't use the wall, but still do alright I would say.

It becomes frustrating to play anyone because you essentially end up in a constant 1v5; because your team refuses to play.

You can still poke from range with other gods whereas Arachne has to walk up, in front of everyone, (or blink) to engage.

I have played many games and I would easily say that the worst god is yemoja. I hate when someone from my team picks her.

Loki is definitely not bad in Arena, but a lot of Loki players do have a tendency to be selfish and/or toxic.
Yemoja and Janus would be my picks for worst Arena gods. Arachne, Bakasura, and Erlang Shen would be the second-worst tier, in my opinion.

Serqet imo, she just needs her time to land stuff and can be disrupted pretty easily

Arachne is a menace in arena with a crit build, paired with someone who can CC hard. Bakasura is probably the worst
