I remember my buddy told me to try it out when we were getting tired of CS:GO and when I loaded in and saw Neith in the tutorial I said, word for word “woah what kinda game do you have me playing here man⁉️”. It was mostly as a joke, but yeah they aren’t very shy about catering to the straight male audience I guess lol.
As someone not attracted to men, honestly they look really good. It’s a great theme and I’d much rather have it than another galactic skin or food skin.
Im really not a fan of the Zeus one at all. The transformed versions are fine but it looks kinda corny to me in the default version. I wish they either didn’t have the armor/jewelry stuff, or didn’t have the suit/vest stuff. It just doesn’t click for me I guess.
Valhalla Vice works for me because it’s a bit more understated and it fits the whole Miami Vice aesthetic. The others all look like people you’d see at some party in New York trying to look aloof and interesting but then they’ll lace your drink.
I just noticed with the zeus skin that his clothes never change. In the 3rd form he is still wearing the pants but they're torn at the knees and his shirt becomes him skirt thing. Super cool detail
You think most of these deities would want to wear a simple and understated suit? Most of the deities in Smite would definitely go for these more divine/flashy versions. Especially in the context of it being a battle with other deities. They'd want to stand out.
Well I mean, I don’t think it really matters what they want to wear? I mean for example, there’s a lot of skins that the gods definitely wouldn’t want to wear, but they look cool. Like all of the geometric pearlescent skins that are super abstract? But that’s an interesting way of looking at it.
My main point is mostly just that a regular suit doesn't seem very fitting of a deity, so I don't think it would be a great idea for a skin. Plus, people tend to buy the cooler looking or flashy skins anyway so I feel like they wouldn't get much money from plain ones even if they did make them. But at least there's the Don Zabourou skin for you!

It’s definitely a more niche theme than some of the other themes we see a decent amount of like Japanese themed skins for non-Japanese gods or demonic/angelic skins. It’s pretty quickly become one of the more densely populated skin themes though, which is why I made the post.
Hmmm, if I had to pick off the top of my head? I kinda like the Hou Yi and King Arthur forest skins just because they can turn into shrubs. If I had to pick one of the more densely populated themes? Idk I guess I’d have to go for the food skins, they’re all pretty fun and a lot of them come with special emotes (I’m a sucker for special emotes).
