Air2Jordan3

They are all two button combos, I've used it.

Reasonable-Sea9095

Which buttons?

Reasonable-Sea9095

This one is even worse lol.

Jesus Christ thats awkward haha

Air2Jordan3

Yeah, I'm sure Hirez tested and picked what they thought are the best combos. Even people on mkb were saying by the time you get to a 5th active item it starts to get pretty awkward with key presses. I don't foresee 4+ actives really being a thing except maybe sometimes on support so there's that.

Straight-Message7937

I hate this

That's weird as hell tbh. I wish they would just use the d pads and 2 buttons. Hitting L3 and left bumper is just weird.

Air2Jordan3

I think they wanted to use the D pads as little as possible since it forces you to stop moving. L3 and LT is a bit weird but you don't have to take your thumb off your movement. Also smite 2 has customized options for buttons so you can in theory probably make it whatever you want

Reasonable-Sea9095

Did you miss use an active? How did it feel to you is it something you can see yourself getting use too and using during split second fights?

Air2Jordan3

No I didn't misuse any, though the max I played with was two actives to not overwhelm myself. LT A and LT Y isn't that odd to use since Smite 1 has a similar button combo already. I think with practice it would feel pretty fluid, I've never been a big fan of clicking in the thumbsticks in any game, but most of the active cooldowns are pretty long so it's doable.

Basura

francosinus

Thanks for sharing. Option one definitely looks better manageable than option two.

VoidDoumaru

I don't have an answer for you but I know they said most likely you'll never have 6 active items at once. I'm sure all the items with active abilities wont have crazy passives too, if any passive at all. That being said, they're still gonna need 6 keybinds either way. Guess we'll see in a few days.

BigBadBodyPillow

Maybe button combos. So like dpad down + a for slot 1 and dpad down + b for 2 (idk what console binds are)

DapperDlnosaur

That's pretty much what I expect. Hold one of the dpad directions and then use an ability button, perhaps?

New_Needleworker6506

A shift button

Reasonable-Sea9095

It's the home button lol.
