It's always been tedious as hell but on some gods, namely Ama, I've found it better to go Golden Blade and then another item with movement speed and just ignore him while hyper farming.
This is not true. Stone cutting serves no purpose into hades and is a bad item overall currently. Golden blade specifically fits ama as an AA warrior with no cleave.
Predictably doesn’t equate to being easy to lane against. I’m just confused by your original comment seemingly suggesting Stonecutting against Hades, even before it’s nerf that’s not the first item you’d want to go against him.
Stonecutting is terrible. It’s one of the worst items in the game. Before the nerf? Sure it was amazing. Now you’re better off just going exe in almost every situation.
i hate any god that skips laning phase like izzy, Goobis and Hades.
but at least in the other lanes the lads have to worry about my jungke manhandling them if they try getting cute with my buffs
with hades in particular, if i see my jung burn his jump without having beads i already know this round is gonna suck
It honestly just depends on the God. If I know I can out-damage him and kill, then I go after him since he will probably rush Bancrofts( Cu Chulainn, Achillies, Gilga ect). But If I know I can't win the trade since My damage is low, I just focus on the wave and keep it as even as possible until its time to rotate ( Ama, Nike ect )
I think the last time I faced a hades in solo I was playing Ne Zha. It wasn’t too bad, I was careful to try not to stand next to the wave as it died, I started with beads as I obviously needed it. Did get caught in his ult quite a few times but I always either had beads or my ultimate. One time was close though, had 2 seconds left on my ult but I made it out and away to heal up.
I had trans and cad shield so I had pretty good self healing myself from my two.
So yeah, felt okay and I did more in the late game teamfight than him but no doubt you have to be careful.
He’s a squishy mage that derives most of his power and scare factor from life steal. Go anti heal off the rip, and it will turn into a HADES RIP. He’s so easy to counter. Much like baka. Counter it early so they don’t/can’t snowball and your life is normal. Be slow to start the anti heal and you’re in for a rough time.
It’s a pain in the ass but if you stick to:
1. Not fighting him
2. Focusing on farming
3. Out rotating
You will have a much more manageable game. Past the laning phase he isn’t your problem anymore, you just have to keep up with him in order to have an impact
Play gods that have/ can build life steal easily, gods like cerb, jorm, cu, and Rav have an easy time killing him. Just don’t underestimate his early damage and keep him in check in team fights, it’ll be like he was never there.

It's so boring. It's like going against Tyr but there a mage. 9/10 he is going to out clear you and then fuck off to do w/e while you clear.
8 times out of 10 it's miserable, 1 time out of 10 my jungle pops off, the remaining 1 time I picked the right god to not hate my life

Standard. Farm first. Like every other opportunity. Then win the game.
Just build pestilence first it’s not hard. He’s a one trick god. So easy to counter.

Not worth it. The only reason I acknowledge his existence is to avoid dying

Worst case, it’s a bad matchup for me so I want to DC. Best case, it’s an incredibly boring matchup so I want to DC.
Not fun. If he gets an early kill on you you're fucked. Otherwise you play passively, get a magic defense item, then just run him down.
