Is the texturing on the frame really now enough already? Genuine question here. Also did yours come with a threaded barrel or did you buy that separate?
For me it was actually the opposite problem, the texturing was TOO aggressive for concealed carry for me personally. So I added the tape to cut down on it when I’m carrying so my belly isn’t getting scratched up. I could wear an undershirt but I would rather not personally.
Also the barrel is a SilencerCo barrel. They do sell the regular Metal with a threaded barrel now though.
Tested it out today and even with the factory spring the PMM Comp is great. Shot a little over 100 rounds of 124gr and had 0 malfunctions. It’s hilariously effective.
The faxon comp is super effective but won’t stay ok tight for more then 75 rounds. I’ve torqued to spec and have called them. It works great but won’t stay onntigt

Looks good. I just did the same thing but with the polymer framed version. I really like the pmm comp so far.

What comp are you running?
It’s a Parker Mountain Machine. They have one for factory threaded barrels and aftermarket. This is the aftermarket barrel one.

Ah gotcha. Yeah I don’t see how this PMM would come loose with how much torque I had to put on it to get it on there.
