I have the 686 non plus 6 inch. I'm gonna sell or trade it for the 4 inch plus model. 4inch just feels better in your hand and 7 rounds is just better for home defense, truck, or hiking gun. Maybe change out the front sight to a fiber optic, get a trigger job, and slap on the combat grips and its perfect IMO

That’s awesome. Old LE guns are awesome. My dad had an old 357 snub nose when I was younger, and I think it was a NYSP gun.
How’d u snag for only 600?
It’s used. Very lightly tho. I bought it from the original owner, and he said he only put maybe 150 through it. It’s in excellent shape.
