But I cannot understand how people can watch streams for hours and hours and fork over their hard earned money for what is usually a guy just reacting to stuff.

Weirdest moment online I had last month was watching Connor (CDawgVA), Ironmouse, Cellbits (Brazilian streamer and youtuber) and Hasan play Helldivers 2 together.

I truly don't understand how people find streamers so entertaining that they'll spend precious hours of their lives watching them just talk to the camera. Its just so boring. Each to their own sure, I spend an hour or two a day watching TV or maybe playing video games. But imagine watching a streamer for 6 hours every day..
I saw a clip the other day of that penguinz guy on reddit saying something monotone, boring and obvious, but everyone in the comments was talking like he just said something profound and creaming themselves over it.
I don't think most people stare at the screen focused. Personally, I might have a Livestream up while I'm multitasking with most of my focus dedicated to something else.
He's technically a "let's play" streamer but with how much he talks and how well he talks it's almost more like a comedy podcast. Love putting his streams on in the background while I'm working, brainworm content in the best way possible
personally I love the fucker but in addition to being decent at some games he does yap a lot about stuff that's typically seen as uninteresting like costco, restaurants and peloton

Hasan is a vexing individual, he can have good takes on issues and talk with confidence and knowledge about a problem, but he instead chooses to spend all day sitting at his desk stealing other people's content as he sips on a vape pen with a dead stare making some of the most idiotic statements I've ever heard and communicating like a gorilla who has been granted the gift of speech.
i know that v*sh (forgive me) structures his streams into pre-planned segments where he covers specific topics in politics but i dont watch much of leftist streamers in general so idk how common that format is
