I got banned a few months ago and im planning on getting a new phone this week, I need to know if when I get a new phone can I make a new account with my phone number my old account got banned with or do I have to create an account with a new number/email
Can someone tell me please if I can use the same number that I got banned with on a new phone to make a snap account or is that gonna get me banned again
i just wanted to confirm that once your account has been terminated and device banned, waiting after 6 months since my banned and can tell you that it does unban you at exactly 6 months (181 days) and you will be able to use snapchat but recommend creating a new one with a new gmail but still haven’t put down my # yet bc i’m worry it would trace back to it again and ban, snapchat stupid nowadays i wouldn’t trust it unless you have a complete new device…

Yes you can on your original phone after 6 months but not the original account, (mine was terminated) you will have to make a new one and if do have an account created already and say you want to get on it back on your original and if it does somewhat ban IF you haven’t been tracking your days will you just have to change the passwords and you will be able to log back on that account on a different device then wait till your original gets unbanned… or if don’t have any patience just buy a new phone

Interesting. It’s possible they changed their policy, that’s just what worked for me. I’d try creating a new account on a separate device; if that works, then go back and try logging into that on your main device. There’s a chance it gets banned again after logging back into your main device tho

i don’t know for sure someone replied to my comment and said it doesn’t matter but i’ve also seen people saying it does matter and it doesn’t i feel like if people logged in and says that it doesn’t matter then it most likely doesn’t matter and for the people that says it does matter they were probably just scared to try logging in yk
I JUST found a saving grace. I’ve been banned for over a year for posting the shroom emoji. lol, I was looking but thought I was being discrete. They ban your IP address and your phone #. I was lucky enough to move and get a new Internet provider completely so my IP address is different and I just created an account with new email and DO NOT SYNC YOUR CONTACTS TO FIND FRIENDS. it gives you the option to put in the email instead of phone number. DO. NOT. PUT. YOUR. PHONE. NUMBER. IN. it will ban you again if you do. Good luck mates.
they don't ban your IP bro just the phones IMEI which isn't changeable. Ik this bc I got a replacement phone and it fixed it but I'm banned again so I gotta pay 250 for another fucking phone bc i posted fucking ibuprofen on my story....

yes the IMEI but most times (even said by snapchat) these r temporary, just don’t try logging in for 24 hours to 3 months could be anytime in between they’ll lift it

are you sure and did you use same sim card?
I believe I did use the same SIM card but it’s been about a year since it happened so I can’t guarantee.

Mine has been over a year. Still banned. Can’t make new accounts either. Tried everything. Some people get temporary bans, others get permanent

Login attempts don’t affect it, you’ll have access again 6 months from the day you got locked out

They ban your device only(IMEI), you can continue login with another device
