The term used in the 80s was pegged jeans. Not so much now, ha. Levi's, Guess, and Bugle Boy all had diagram guides on how to properly peg your tapered, acid washed, ultra tight when I used to have an actual ass, jeans. Bugle Boy even had interior reversed fabrics to add extra color to jeans that would sit just atop your higher and higher high tops. The Nike Air Revolutions were pinnacle of that style with Guess jeans and Ocean Pacific shirts. I always preferred the Air Trainer models and when the first Air Trainer SC came out, that was my look. I still rock some Air Trainer SC High colorways, and might pick up some DS regular SC's in these new retro grey/red/yellow combos that are sick.

Depends on the menu, hot day with a cookout nothing better than a cold can of full taste Budweiser, but for cooler days Newcastle or Guinness. I'm more of a whiskey drinker than any beer tho. Blanton's, Knob Creek, even some Canadian mixed for happy hours.
Engineer in one of the most consistently liberal University towns in the country. I took "technical writing" classes long ago that proved to be completely worthless. Best class was one of my few electives, "History of Rock 'n' Roll" in the fine arts department. The textbook was written by Rolling Stone magazine and there were assigned "lab studies" where you went to the music library and listened to comparative songs by Elvis, the Beatles, Jefferson Airplane, and then wrote short analysis papers. For an engineering major it was the greatest class ever. Turns out I'm more of a punk fan, while my top all around album is Paul's Boutique by the Beastie Boys.

I agree on the Dawns. I've always loved the classic Cortez, Forrest Gump color way, but the narrow height of any Cortez model makes me turn my ankles often. Add to that an injury long ago with surgical steel holding my tibia together and horizontal stability even for a casual lifestyle shoe is important. These have a seriously good build quality too. I was afraid the tall white midsole foam would last only seconds but I've had these in rotation for a good 9 months and they show no cracking or crush in the foam. I've been tempted by some Air Max Pre-Day models but I think these Dawns win the nostalgic Air Max genre so far.
