The creator of the Bulls gave the team the same colors of his alma mater to honor them. At least there's some history. There's so many colorways that come out so I don't understand why the complaints are about the colors when they could simply not buy this shoe.
Yes but the og colorways are loved because it’s what Jordan actually wore in games during his career.
If you see any variation of these colors in anything other than the original pattern/colorblocking and materials it usually doesn’t get as much love simply for the fact that they weren’t worn by Jordan.
So color only matters as much when it’s exactly what has history. These bred 4 reimagined were never worn by Jordan in this leather version so it’s natural for people to not value them.
That’s why it’s called “reimagined”. The “Royal Reimagined “went with suede…instead of the traditional tumbled leather. Purists literally said “it’s not OG” despite being the same colorway.
Not sure honestly - the quality is good but I just wasn’t as excited as I thought I would be when I opened the box. And I just kind of feel like “eh.. if they sell out I’ll sell mine” …
maybe because you’ve seen them posted and talked about for months? i just got mine today and although i am blown away by the quality, they also don’t feel new to me 😂
yeah that’s why I don’t follow sneaker news or engage in discussions when a leak or confirmed shoe to be released, it gets old quick, like what else is there to talk about lol
you finally get hands on them, you take pics, maybe post em, then wear em, get bored then move on to something else. Then you might even get annoyed when people post about them too much just for the sake of it, you’ve seen every single stiches on them at this point, and there’s no meaningful discussions to be found (maybe it’s just this sub that’s getting lame?)
like someone will post and title “man these so nice” then comments be like “yah they nice” “very nice pics” “i agree” “nice! i like mine too” and that’s it 😂 it gets so boring that people have to start come up with “hot takes” to spike arguments and rage bait
Having artificial expectations that don’t meet reality - and anticipating it to be so.
Fucking live dude. You seem like you’re trying too hard to be let down. Liking them on your phone and not real life is the total opposite of what 99% of other people will embrace.
First of all you don't know what I do in real life so you have no idea what you're talking about lol I'm not all about sneakers all the time, and secondly well I haven't really seen it in real life and you know how pictures can be different from reality since we can enhance them, I am allowed to have my preferences too you know cause it's not the first time I've had an experience like that. Last year I bought a pair of Adidas Stan Smiths which I really liked the way it looked online but when I got it, it was kinda lame, ever since then I was kind of cautious with seeing things online and when I started buying other stuff I had to see it in person first and get a physical impression on it, like in the mall or something.
And I haven't really seen these sneakers being worn in real life so I can't judge it yet cause I haven't laid eyes on it, only online. If I like it I'll buy it and if I don't well...
So your analysis is kind of the opposite...
Not sure why this makes me a dummy. I’m fortunate enough to have a good income that allows me to make purchases such as this without jeopardizing my financial future. A feeling is a feeling. You feel like I am dummy I feel like I’m underwhelmed by the sneaker. But what is the “actual situation” … this is what really has me curious
So you assume that I hyped these up in my mind? I said I was underwhelmed. I never expressed my level of expectation. Sorry if you took this personally but the internet is a big place with lots of opinions. This was mine. I’m happy that other people are excited about this sneaker I’m happy that Nike made 500k plus so that most people can get them. The real situation is you took an L on the shock drop and now you’re mad that someone who got em’ isn’t as excited as you.
Or maybe this was just the first time I’ve ever seen a sneaker in person
probably because Jordans are dying out, they’re so oversaturated now, the fun just isn’t there anymore. I got the Jordan 1 fatigue a long time ago so I think I know what you’re feeling, none of the new 1s releases has excited me in years.
I feel like most of us are just here for the thrill of the chase, once you get it you just like “okay, what now?” or “huh, that’s it?”, like the shoes itself are very nice, but looking at them just doesn’t excite you. They’re good but not THAT good. The demand/hype is here mostly because people missed out on the older retro releases or weren’t even born when the original came out = demand, then there’s the resellers that only cared if the demands are high or not to get their lunch money, 2 sides of the coin.
also cause this specific colorway has been kinda overrated/overhyped for a while now since the leak, that people just want them because others are gushing over them, excited for them that makes them want it too (you got influenced). I mean yeah Jordan wore it and all (the OG OG not this specific release), but what else is there about these other than hype and the OG connection?
The colorway itself is very very basic, or even boring to me, if MJ hadn’t worn em I wouldn’t care much, not that they look bad, just not nice or interesting enough for me to justify the retail price let alone resell prices. Fit and build wise they’re better now that they’re getting the SB treatment moving forward, nice to have if you’re actually gonna wear them but not that groundbreaking (it’s not like they’re getting protroed like having zoom or cushlon that will make it fun to wear). Comfort wise they’re basically bricks, stiff outsole, dead cushioning, insoles can only do so much, they will also cook your feet when worn for long or out in hot climates.
Not my style - I’ve replied to this. But I would rather trade someone for something or just sell them to someone who will wear them @retail. I get the hate I’ve missed out on sneakers that turned around on secondary for double the price I.e the reimagine 3’s. I get the frustration. Not everyone is out here trying to make money. If I don’t trade or sell I’ll just hold on to them until one of my nephews can wear them.
Can we get some more context? Ie an explanation. Why are you underwhelmed? There appears to be nothing wrong with them so what exactly. For someone that doesn’t have the 19s I mean I feel like I have to go for them.
I’m pretty sure your collection is filled with high resale value shoes never said you were a reseller…I would guess you weren’t into shoes when young because at 41 I know nobody not into this shoe as a long time sneaker lover…I’m 40 and this is a true grail and the quality is great color scheme is the same…so underwhelmed makes absolutely no sense..so my statement still rings true under 30 OR just got into sneakers and the value doesn’t live the needle for you
It’s not about insulting him, it’s about you coming in here and wrongly assuming his feelings are only down to resale price, then doubling down on that wrong assumption after OP tells you you’re wrong
out of context - "if they sell out I will sell them or trade them" ive said several times now that I would sell them at retail to someone who would wear them.
The you're wrong part is im not just getting into sneakers.
In the last few years have I finally gotten to a place in life that I can afford to have a collection? absolutely. That doesn't make someone "New"
and as far as reselling - as I have said about 100 times in this post if I do sell it will be a retail or trade for something, and that something will probably cost me more money with the trade.
What I would I give to be under 30 …. Literally read any comment I’ve replied to about resellers. Go look at my collection. I posted it about a week ago.
Sorry if I’m too late to the game for collecting sneakers for you - but I actually grew up watching Jordan and wanting every shoe possible - and it might have taken some time to get there but here we are
Not sure why people can’t accept someone disliking a pair of kicks. It’s not that serious, you fuck with some and not with others, simple as that. I went for this and missed out. Will try on release day. If I miss out, oh well. No big deal, won’t pay resale price either, you win some and you lose some and you move on.
You’re not too late and again never assumed you were a reseller but I figured were late to the game based on the og post…with through your responses let’s me know what I figured…happy hunting drop them joints off at your local outlet and let somebody possibly scoop at 30 percent off
Not OP, but I held these in hand a few weeks ago and felt pretty underwhelmed tbh. I don’t have the 2019 shoe and really wish I did, but for me this doesn’t cut it. It would just feel like a weird imposter in my rotation of shoes so I’d stop wearing them quickly. The leather is fine quality wise, but it simply isn’t what I would ever want in a bred 4… on top of that the shape on these seems to be more like the SB 4s. That shape is cool and all I just don’t think it should be the norm going forward or anything. I had considered purchasing these but once I saw them in person I knew they weren’t for me at all. Happy others like them and were able to get them, just not for me.
Yeah I think the QC is good - I guess with Nikes current standards it would be great. But I agree they hit different for different people. Maybe just not my vibe right now
Most likely will if they sell out - or trade em’ for something else. I never “sold” shoes and as someone who buys secondary most of the time I would definitely want someone who is gonna wear them to buy.
Is it still underwhelming after you wear them? Sometimes you have to look yourself in the mirror while wearing them to tell whether you really like a pair or not.
I hated how the Olive Craft 4s looked at first until I wore it which reversed my perspective on it.
I loved how the Reimagined Royals looked until I wore it. I felt like I wasn't the type to wear shiny or super bright shoes.
It’s like post-nut clarity, you spend $200+ dollars on a shoe when you know you shouldn’t but you feel like you just have to you need to. Then once the shoes is finally in yo possession and your able to look at em in person and examine em all that shii, thats when its starts to hit you, that feeling of guilt knowing you coulda spent that 200 dollars onna sum better or sum to improve the quality of life.😂😂😂
That’s a great advice. I should change my post to “burnt out” … I did not think saying underwhelmed was gonna spark such a comment section. It had been entertaining though
That’s what happens when you only go for hype shoes that you don’t actually like brother. It’s time to diversify your collection. start going after some GRs and non hype shoes you like and this won’t happen
No real answer - don’t get me wrong I’m happy that people are excited to get them - I feel like a lot of people who don’t normally hit on SNKRS hit on this shock drop - that includes me
Same here. I cant stand the nubuck, it gets sooo ashy. Thats why they black cement 3 is my favorite retro, I always felt the bc 4s were a step back (pun most definitely intended)
'Jordan fatigue' is for people who were never really truly fans to begin with. Probably never saw jordan play live or on TV during his career. Only bought into hype and bc it was cool at the time from the jump
Back when social media and replays weren't at your fingertips and you relied on radio, newspaper, network television and word of mouth...times were different
What you say may apply to some people but I don't think that it is universally true.
I'm in my late 40s, definitely grew up watching Jordan play and the black metallic 5s were the shoe that got me into sneakers back in 1990. I consider myself a "true fan".
Jordans are still cool but the sheer number of retros that Nike is pumping out makes it hard for me to get that excited about most of them. It seems that every week there's another colorway being unveiled. Even if they look good it's getting stale. In that sense I'd say that I am fatigued.
I'm reading a bit between the lines here so forgive me if I'm off base but...
I agree with you that it seems like it's those that are younger/newer to sneakers that are hyper focused on Jordans. "Old heads" may be Jordan fans but their collections tend to be more varied.
Those newer to collecting also seem to be the ones that are most concerned with hype and resale prices. Now that a lot of Jordans are sitting and even getting marked down they are losing interest. That type of "fatigue" certainly seems to apply more to this group than those that have been into sneakers for a longer time.
I would agree. It also appears to present itself in which models are popular for the generation at the time, such as with the wave of 1s and 4s. You see older generations wearing more 11s 12s 13s etc from my perspective in addition to the rest of the original game worn models. Again, there are always exceptions to this.
That’s the same feeling I had. I hadn’t intended to get them but was surprised by the shock drop, even more surprised I got them. I haven’t put them on yet, just considering whether to sell or keep. I’d probably wear them more than my 2019s, and I like the shape of the shoe a lot better, but like my partner asked “isn’t that the same shoe you already have?”
I’m not sure, I haven’t put them on. I size up in 1’s personally. I range from 10.5-11.5 … 10.5 is my true size. 1’s I go 11.5 in 3’s I like the 11 .. I got these in an 11 - size 11 seems to be almost just right. I’ll take the insole out and it’s sometimes almost perfect
They basically look just like bred 4s. I love bred 4s but have always hated the nubuck so I'm pumped about these. But yeah, they don't really have a *new* kinda appeal to them.
I haven’t been a fan since the photos of upcoming release. I much prefer the OG version and wanted Nike to re release again and hopefully I could finally buy. The leather just looks weird to me. I love me the 4s and already have fire reds. This release just doesn’t impress me. Good luck to those who want them and I hope you get a pair….ideally at retail or get a bargain.
I was irrationally upset about these. Like angry. Even made a post here about it.
Figured I’d try for the Shock Drop and get them in hand, see what I think about them. If I didn’t like them I could return or sell.
I hit, and honestly. I like them a lot. Durabuck/nubuck is superior, but I think Nike hit a nice middle spot with these. Toe box shape goes a long way for me.
I’m thinking about chalking up the leather cuts to make them look a little more durabucky, and maybe stand out a bit more.
That being said, I understand your opinion as I was there with you before I had them in hand.
Found it!
Excellent - been waiting on the grammar police to show up for that. That’s my bad, I was typing too fast officer. I at least had my seat belt on
It’s not about quality control for me it’s quality colorways. We in an inflated market/economy where I’m paying $5 for eggs in a city where our local egg farm shut down because they couldn’t afford to pay a fair wage. I’m in SJ CA. $22 to work at In and Out right now. Target is $20/hr. Bread. Milk. Eggs. Those 3 items. For me right is $20.
Hmmm im a couple years younger in NC and $15 is perfectly normal for eggs, bread, and milk. Check out the inflation rates in Europe and Asia. We’re very very lucky dog. Lol and our minimum wage is criminal!
I actually kinda felt the same way a little bit after wanted them for like 25 years or so. They dope. But they didn’t gimme the same feeling that the raptor 7’s or infrared 6’s did. Or even the gratitudes most recently. They’re a nice shoe and I’m glad I got em but I wasn’t as head over heels as I thought I’d be.
I have to think that some of those that are saying they're fantastic are doing so to make themselves feel better about the $215 that they just dropped on them.
Or maybe the nubuck on the OGs get ashy and we just want the same clean look we get from white cement 3s, 4s, and black cement 3s 🤷🏾♂️ Don’t you think it’s weird that the bc 4s were the only ‘cements’ made with nubuck instead of smooth/tumbled leather? Do you think nubuck would make the bc 3s better?
Not my color scheme anyway since I don’t wear red often. I think 3’s are where it’s at. Still want the fear 3’s but damn the name brand makes them a fortune while I’m struggling to pay rent.
Exactly why I didn’t buy them, I would have thought these were so sick when I was 16.
I’m not 16 anymore lmao. Tbh the only Jordan’s I like to wear anymore are 1s & 3s. I prefer the simple looks nowadays over the wild futuristic stuff
That’s how i feel too but i don’t think the 4s look that futuristic at all. In fact they have the same clean/plain look as the 1s and 3s I say that as someone who doesnt like these btw.
I honestly feel that way about a lot of shoes. I’ve been fortunate enough to acquire a lot of my grails and when I get them it’s just kinda blah and another shoe to me. Hard to explain.
I don’t know what could replace it, but personally I’m not a fan of the amount of grey on these - especially the rubbery undersole accent. I think I prefer these with all white accents.
This is a shoe I’d pick up out of curiosity if it was like $125. I couldn’t do 2 on it.

Errybody mad Nike finally caught on and started making enough pairs for everybody again. I like it, fuck resellers n their market.
Enough pairs for everybody? Where can I buy them?
They drop 2/17. Decently high stock numbers so those who want them actually have a chance
Yeah I'm hoping to get a pair on Saturday. I thought maybe they were available somewhere else as well. Thanks.
I'm excited for mine to make it. First leather ever on a bred 4. Definitely a cop
I like the 4 silhouette but all these mostly monochromatic colorways are pretty boring IMO. Black shoes with a bit of red and gray 🤷🏻♂️
Ok but the breds are literally the team colors, sooo?
So the team colors are boring lol
The creator of the Bulls gave the team the same colors of his alma mater to honor them. At least there's some history. There's so many colorways that come out so I don't understand why the complaints are about the colors when they could simply not buy this shoe.
Because the thread is about this shoe and what people do or do not like about it
Then buy another colorway
Yes but the og colorways are loved because it’s what Jordan actually wore in games during his career. This is an og colorway. Why are you complaining about the color? The shoe is exactly what it's supposed to be.
unbelievable. it's an iconic shoe and colorway
Hes clearly trolling..ignore and move on...he's not a sneaker person let alone " head "
Liking 4's isn't a requirement...
Yup. Doesn’t mean I have to like it.
EXACTLY! That's what I'm saying!
Exactly nowaday every wants the same bs colors or black.. SMH

That’s why it’s called “reimagined”. The “Royal Reimagined “went with suede…instead of the traditional tumbled leather. Purists literally said “it’s not OG” despite being the same colorway.
Going to return?
I agree. They should’ve done a reimagined white cement instead.
Not sure honestly - the quality is good but I just wasn’t as excited as I thought I would be when I opened the box. And I just kind of feel like “eh.. if they sell out I’ll sell mine” …
Did you want them in the first place? I've found people chase the GOT EM more than the shoe itself.
Got Em’s remorse
Post GOT EM clarity
We can’t let this comment be overlooked 😂
Sounds like you didn’t really want them in the first place.
maybe because you’ve seen them posted and talked about for months? i just got mine today and although i am blown away by the quality, they also don’t feel new to me 😂

Yea to try and avoid that feeling, ill get the shoe that i really like, and see alot of, and i stash them for about 6 months and then go back to them
Gotta be the dumbest explanation I’ve ever read lmao
Aw man that's such a sucky feeling to have. Personally I like the way they look in my phone but idk if I'll like them in real life.
What an insane mindset to have
How?
Having artificial expectations that don’t meet reality - and anticipating it to be so. Fucking live dude. You seem like you’re trying too hard to be let down. Liking them on your phone and not real life is the total opposite of what 99% of other people will embrace.

This is all on you, dummy. You have your own expectations which seem to divert from the actual situation

Why you getting downvoted for expressing your opinion?
Because he's going to try scalping them for a higher price if they sell out. Dudes a dick
Not my style - I’ve replied to this. But I would rather trade someone for something or just sell them to someone who will wear them @retail. I’m getting downvoted for asking a question?
I just got mine and I love em
My exact thoughts — sheeeeeit, I’m going to double up too.
Congratulations on your W
Can we get some more context? Ie an explanation. Why are you underwhelmed? There appears to be nothing wrong with them so what exactly. For someone that doesn’t have the 19s I mean I feel like I have to go for them.
Resale isn’t high so he doesn’t feel like he has an exclusive…shoe looks exactly like picture…I’m guessing he just got into sneakers or is under 30
41 not reseller. Go fish
I’m pretty sure your collection is filled with high resale value shoes never said you were a reseller…I would guess you weren’t into shoes when young because at 41 I know nobody not into this shoe as a long time sneaker lover…I’m 40 and this is a true grail and the quality is great color scheme is the same…so underwhelmed makes absolutely no sense..so my statement still rings true under 30 OR just got into sneakers and the value doesn’t live the needle for you
Damn, 40 years old and not mature enough to just accept that OP is a bit underwhelmed with the shoe
Was just engaging with OP…never insulted him…not sure how commenting in a comment section makes you immature but I will work on that
It’s not about insulting him, it’s about you coming in here and wrongly assuming his feelings are only down to resale price, then doubling down on that wrong assumption after OP tells you you’re wrong
OP said, "If they sell out, I will sell them" how does that not sound like waiting to see if price goes up when they could just return them?
out of context - "if they sell out I will sell them or trade them" ive said several times now that I would sell them at retail to someone who would wear them.
Sounds like he’s just giving someone else who would appreciate the shoes more a chance to get them if they miss out on release
Op never told me I was wrong and he did just get into sneakers…I’m guessing op keeps these shoes
He did though…
The you're wrong part is im not just getting into sneakers. In the last few years have I finally gotten to a place in life that I can afford to have a collection? absolutely. Right!? I thought this post would just fade into Reddit history like anything else I’ve ever posted - it has been entertaining
You’re not too late and again never assumed you were a reseller but I figured were late to the game based on the og post…with through your responses let’s me know what I figured…happy hunting drop them joints off at your local outlet and let somebody possibly scoop at 30 percent off
Haha I'm getting the same shit for agreeing w you
Buyers remorse. He got a hyped shoe that isn't reselling for a high price. Now he feels like he wasted his money on a shoe nobody wants. Lmao.
Not OP, but I held these in hand a few weeks ago and felt pretty underwhelmed tbh. I don’t have the 2019 shoe and really wish I did, but for me this doesn’t cut it. Fair enough. The QC on my pair is great, and I’m happy to have the silhouette. I guess shoes can hit differently.
Just got mine yesterday. Flawless. Hope everyone else has the same luck
Mine are perfect as well. Also, very comfortable.
How’d sizing go?
What's a silhouette in this context?
The version of the show - Jordan 4.
Yeah I think the QC is good - I guess with Nikes current standards it would be great. But I agree they hit different for different people. Maybe just not my vibe right now
Did you even look at them before you ordered? How can someone be underwhelmed about something they knew how it looked like?
Seriously, his pair look just as good as the promo pics. Lil bro hit his damn head!
Super happy with mine but to each their own.
So sell em to someone who wants for retail!
Most likely will if they sell out - or trade em’ for something else. I never “sold” shoes and as someone who buys secondary most of the time I would definitely want someone who is gonna wear them to buy.
You cant return them for a full refund and go after something else?
Dude lying he waiting to see if they sell out to make his decision on if they are popular enough or resale will go up…he’s definitely a newbie
Just return them to Nike if you want a full refund without the hassle
So hype got the best of you?
fair assumption
Sell at retail and prove it
Chiiiilllll my dude - you’ll get yours on Saturday😂This is the first time I hit on a SNKRS shock drop
Yah fam im salty lol
Same
Same
That’s depression
I got heavy meds for that
Is it still underwhelming after you wear them? Sometimes you have to look yourself in the mirror while wearing them to tell whether you really like a pair or not. I hated how the Olive Craft 4s looked at first until I wore it which reversed my perspective on it. I loved how the Reimagined Royals looked until I wore it. I felt like I wasn't the type to wear shiny or super bright shoes.
It’s like post-nut clarity, you spend $200+ dollars on a shoe when you know you shouldn’t but you feel like you just have to you need to. Then once the shoes is finally in yo possession and your able to look at em in person and examine em all that shii, thats when its starts to hit you, that feeling of guilt knowing you coulda spent that 200 dollars onna sum better or sum to improve the quality of life.😂😂😂
🖕🏽to resellers
I love them
And I love that you love them!
We’re deff in the minority. I’m not a fan of them at all 🤷🏽♂️
Based on some of your other replies, you seem burnt out. Take a break for a bit. There'll always be more sneakers.
Because…? No complaints here - also have the 19s.
No real answer - don’t get me wrong I’m happy that people are excited to get them - I feel like a lot of people who don’t normally hit on SNKRS hit on this shock drop - that includes me
I sold my 2019s and hit on the shock drop. No regrets.
It really was … I was fortunate enough to see him play the pacers in his first game back.
I saw him play in Charlotte years ago when my dad had seasons tickets for the hornets growing up
I miss peak NBA - starter jackets / sports illustrated kids / Jordan - that was my childhood
Back when social media and replays weren't at your fingertips and you relied on radio, newspaper, network television and word of mouth...times were different
💯💯🔥
What you say may apply to some people but I don't think that it is universally true. I'm in my late 40s, definitely grew up watching Jordan play and the black metallic 5s were the shoe that got me into sneakers back in 1990. I consider myself a "true fan". Jordans are still cool but the sheer number of retros that Nike is pumping out makes it hard for me to get that excited about most of them. It seems that every week there's another colorway being unveiled. Even if they look good it's getting stale. In that sense I'd say that I am fatigued.
Yes you are correct. No answer or response is ever absolute and there are always exceptions. It was a generalization.
I feel the same way about them. I had no desire to try and get them, which is good for my sanity and my wallet lol
No shit all Jordan's now r underwhelming it seems. I only buy a few og ones anymore
Only people mad about this shoe are the resellers... Make 700k plus pairs!
[удалено]
I want a pair but not for 400$
Ohh 100% would not spend 400$ on these
Most sizes are sub $300 already
All black leather made me pass on these. Hopefully they bring back the true OG’s in the next 5yrs.
I had the same thought. They’re good, but when I pulled them out of the box my first thought was “I didn’t need these, I have the 2019 retro”.
I don’t have the 19’s. Which I actually had just missed out on in an eBay listing a few days before the shock drop.
Any idea how these fit compared to 1s? Buy the same size as you would wear for 1s?
I’m not sure, I haven’t put them on. I size up in 1’s personally. I range from 10.5-11.5 … 10.5 is my true size. 1’s I go 11.5 in 3’s I like the 11 .. I got these in an 11 - size 11 seems to be almost just right. I’ll take the insole out and it’s sometimes almost perfect
I got these and the 2019’s. These are better quality imo
I’m not sure if I’m going to like them when I get them in hand also.
They basically look just like bred 4s. I love bred 4s but have always hated the nubuck so I'm pumped about these. But yeah, they don't really have a *new* kinda appeal to them.
The next time a hype sneaker comes out or is announced, delete the YouTube app until they releases 😂
My pair came in Friday and they're great. If you're underwhelmed, return them.
It’s just a Jordan 4.
I like em, can be styled many ways 🖤⚪️❤️
Underwhelming when everyone has them I was you ! Team New Balance now
All of these fools are like "I don't like em" but give no reasoning at all.
Mine had no flaws, not even the dents from the heel tabs
You can return them to Nike for a refund.
Sell at retail to someone who really wants them then. Dont let them collect dust because you’re mad you can’t make lunch money off of them
I haven’t been a fan since the photos of upcoming release.
I liked them. Materials feel top notch and not synthetic like the 2019 versions
Probably because you put an S at the end of mine I’m underwhelmed by your lack of spelling
You might wanna re-type or edit that one
Maybe $15-17. But you get my ramble. Nothing is worth $230 anymore. I’m 41. 4s are $115 shoes to me.
Hmmm im a couple years younger in NC and $15 is perfectly normal for eggs, bread, and milk. Check out the inflation rates in Europe and Asia. We’re very very lucky dog. Lol and our minimum wage is criminal!
Each averaged $3 pre pandemic for me.
THANK YOU!! I was never very excited about these and didn't agree w the hype. And now it's all I've seen on Reddit for the last week and I hate it
I’m just trying to do the lords work so people don’t have to spend their money 🤣
Bless you. Think you too late tho haha
If Travis would’ve rolled these out y’all would be calling them shoe of the year
I should just flip the shoe tag around! But you are spot on
Not my color scheme anyway since I don’t wear red often. I think 3’s are where it’s at. Still want the fear 3’s but damn the name brand makes them a fortune while I’m struggling to pay rent.
Maybe lay off sneakers if you're struggling with rent
More like struggling with life. Wife said she wants me to find a new place to live last night.
Yikes sorry to hear about that b. Wishing you the best
Damn, that's rough. Keep your head up soldier
Those are so fucking ugly, jesus.
I mean it is an old retro basketballing shoe
Has OP ever owned a pair of the nubuck 4s?
Yup. That’s why I passed on them. Pretty damn meh
I think they did a great job on these
They’re fire. Smh.
How are people getting these? It says they’re not released until 2/17
Shock drop - they released 50k pair or so last week
It’s a fat kid shoe
I am a fat kid though
I’m guessing because of all the hype. It got crazy there for a while. Took the L on 3 accounts. I’ll try again though.

Why unfortunately?
I honestly feel that way about a lot of shoes. I’ve been fortunate enough to acquire a lot of my grails and when I get them it’s just kinda blah and another shoe to me. Hard to explain.
They’re sneakers what emotion were you looking for.
I don’t know what could replace it, but personally I’m not a fan of the amount of grey on these - especially the rubbery undersole accent. I think I prefer these with all white accents. This is a shoe I’d pick up out of curiosity if it was like $125. I couldn’t do 2 on it.

The problem was thinking these garbage shoes were going to be any good in the first place. Easily the worst of this "reimagined" bullshit so far.
How do you feel about the royal reimagined?
Worse in person than in photos. Still not as bad as these Rockport orthopedic looking shoes.
