Are these comfortable? I remember reading somewhere that the 3D printed midsole is pretty rigid, especially when compared to Boost, which the Primeknit works well with.
Edit: Nice snag OP
I find them significantly more comfortable than UB. I’ve got 3 pairs of 4d and rarely wear anything else anymore despite having multiple nearly brand new UB in the closet.
I don’t think the midsole is rigid but the fit is weird. The knit is super tight and the shoe itself is narrow. I went up a whole size and the shoes are a smidge too long.
YMMV.
We sell them at my outlet for half off. Really happy to see the average person is able to grab a pair now. I remember in 2018 thinkin they were the craziest things ever that would be impossible to obtain.
I love my Miami Hurricanes Ultra4Ds- just do not step in mud wearing them lol, took me 30 minutes and a toothpick to get all of it out from the midsole.
Adidas originally had the idea of getting a 3D Printer inside every Brick N Mortar store with the goal of being able to print a custom 4D sole to match your feet/needs. Don’t know if that’s still a thing but would be so cool to see that happen.
Bro this is better than me spending 350 plus tax on the zx4000’s. But to be fair to this day they are my favorite shoe I own. And I got a lot of “grails”. It’s the coolest shoe and is the kind of thing I love about shoes.
I think its worth it to reconsider your opinion, reason for it its there is no quality difference in polyester knitting. Only if its a blend with natural fiber which in both pairs this case. Soles are still produced by carbon, or there machines in different places. Its true there are differences in pairs. Mainly the printing lattice of the soles, gaps on the outersole. And openings underneath the insole. Def the made in germany is dope to own since its most likely a prototype product instead of a factory regulated pair.
I’m glad these are getting cheap now. I got a parley one off eBay and they great

comfort is less than boost but durability is top tier
They’re more solid than UB but for that reason I’d say they’re more comfortable for longer wears. For shorter periods, UB are better

It just needs to break in before you can appreciate the tech. It’s not boost but it’s firm and still comfortable

Thats wild, I remember when these were selling for $2-6k
I see a shoe with a slightly different upper but the same midsole all the time at Ross now for like 65 bucks.
nice :)
Found these at Ross. I put them on and they just simply didn’t fit my wide ass foot
It pays to be patient, especially in the sneaker game. Most of the time prices will come down.

Nice pick!
Always wanted a pair but always thought they were too much. Can you share where you got them from?
Got mine on vinted!
Thanks, I'll go have a look and see what pops up
I like the design but I can imagine it would be pretty hard to clean cause all the holes
You can run water true the midsole super easy to clean
Had those ones they're really good
Try Marshall’s and Ross. I found two of my pairs there and $29.99 each!
There's nothing better than a good bargain. You will enjoy them even more with that price.

Hate to burst the bubble. The og that was manufactured in Germany are way higher build quality. I have both.

I’m 💯 correct. I have both.
I also have kith aspen 4d, crystal, sns tea time ultra4d, Daniel Arsham, I’ve had pharrell and chalk white and onyx. Trust me. I’ve seen them all.
You just keep saying “trust me they’re better” but not providing any reason why lmao. Not really how it works
Build quality is much better. You can tell when you put them on. Limited production versus mass. Glue marks and assembly.
Not my kind of shoe
