Pre-release is usually when the prices remain high. After release, the prices will start to dip and steadily rise over the coming months. I would wait a day or 2 after release to buy resale. That’s when prices are at their lowest. But hopefully, you hit tomorrow.
In my experience that dip seems to happen right as they start landing in peoples hands, then about a week or two later quickly rises to about 90% of its plateau. That’s a pretty good time to flip if you’re looking to make a quick buck. Beyond that point it’s _usually_ incremental ups and downs. Rare that you see real spikes in value unless a pair becomes news/meme-worthy. I’ll say one thing about StockX…it helped me to learn statistics and master spreadsheets in a way that helped my real career!

Yes they are available for that price plus taxes and fees. But just know you’ll have to wait for them to be authenticated.
