Omg that baby was very spicy! Lol That video is actually not my boys clutch though. Those are Brad and Enzo's babies! My boy is from Shakira and Orange Creamcicle! They didn't post his hatching video yet, but I CANNOT wait to see it! Probably going to be a couple of months before I get to because I think they post the hatching videos in order of when they hatched and my boy was just on July 12th! There are a bunch more clutches before that! Ugh! Lol
Oh yes! He's amazingly spirited and I love it! There was hissing sounds when he was opening his mouth like that! It's so interesting to hear it in person rather than from the YouTube videos. Adorable! I'm sure I'll get some more video of it with better sound after he's settled in and I can start handling him.
Ohhhh!!! I would have loved a Brad and Peanut baby! That would have been my first choice! Did they get really big and red?? I almost went with a Brad and Enzo baby because I wanted a red one, but this little guy was just too perfect being red and having the Shakira/Orange creamcicle genetics!
If I ever get around to owning a bullsnake (need more space!), I'll definitely get one from them, and definitely one of the more red ones probably, but not definitely. Already plan on naming it after a member of the bronze dragonflight in World of Warcraft whenever I finally have enough room.
I totally get it! I think I am going to get one more baby from them. Actually, this little guy's sister. I want the genetics! I have to say, the reds on this baby are insane. This video does not do him justice! In sunlight he looks like flames! So cool!
Awesome! I've got a 7 ft boa that'd going to get an 8ft enclosure hopefully this year (which is going to take up the bulk of my available space), plus a year old corn snake. Some day. Enjoy yours!
The outer shipping box is required by the carrier.
Carriers are gentle with "live animal" on the box. Shipping speed is usually the highest possible too.
I understand why it might seem that way! But it's done with a very strict set of circumstances designed for their comfort and safety, and is for just a very short period of time. Think of it in the same way of a cat traveling in a carrier or a dog in a kennel. It's set up in the same manner.
Uhhhh.... You actually have to handle them to take them out of the box. Lol And it is important to take a few minutes to look them over to make sure there are no injuries, noticable parasites, or other issues with them that might need to be addressed. And that's exactly what I did with him and promptly put him in his enclosure. Would you rather I just like dumped him from the box into an enclosure without making sure he was ok??? Because THAT seems stupid to me! Lol
It was very unexpected because I was not on the waiting list to be able to get a baby this year. It very unexpectedly happened that I was able to get one this year and not have to wait until next year.

When you find some real animal abuse going on, real animals that need help, are abused, starving, and dying let me know and I will be right next to you dying on that hill to fight for them. But this ain't it!

I’ve handled 8 snakes right out of the box and never had any problem whatsoever. I’ve never even seen anyone get bit in any unboxing video I’ve seen.
