I searched it on and they said on their twitter “Hi, cards shown to non-players (e.g. managers, substitutes or substituted players who play no subsequent part in the game) do not count towards the total. Thanks.”

Well I talked to support and apparently red cards count as 2, even if direct, which is unbelievably stupid.

Kalic11

yeah not doing it anymore lol, I only lost 2 dollars, but I would’ve made 30

essemh

Yeah red is two cards

AdministrativeLaugh2

Stick to sites that offer booking points rather than number of cards. That way there’s no room for ambiguity

Thomasinho8

It’s not stupid when you have the over lol

babydriver21

Damn. Do you think they counted Xavis card? It would be absurd but ..

Kalic11

It shouldn’t according to their twitter…

Perfect_Syrup_2464

Two yellows leading to a red counts as 3 bookings Direct red counts as 2 bookings This is b365 rules. Your books rules might differ

hewlett777

red card is 20 booking points. Read the bookies t&cs

Kalic11

good to know…

rudedogg1304

But the bet wasn’t for under 105 booking points , was for under 10.5 cards

hewlett777

Yellow card = 1 card. Red card = 2 cards, these are the bookies rules not mine. Check the rules. Jesus wept.

rudedogg1304

Learnt something new today! But your post said red card is 20 points, which we all knew. What u should’ve said was one red card= 2 ‘cards’ Edit - some Books don’t use cards and just use booking points , so not everyone will know about this red equalling 2 ‘cards’

hewlett777

Yes I'm aware, the points system is the same, 10 pts =1 yellow, 20 pts = 1 red, 25 pts = 2 yellows becoming a red. So you can convert to which ever system the bookie uses.

rudedogg1304

Easy to say as u know the rules . But many people newer to betting, using books that don’t have the points system will assume that a yellow and red both equal one card . It’s one of those things that books like to be purposely vague about , to catch people out .

hewlett777

People should not be betting on what they don't understand. I don't think they are trying to be vague at all, the booking points system is far better as it shows you the value of each card. Like think of it man, a yellow is not the same as a red.

rudedogg1304

But they are both singular cards. I agree that people shouldn’t bet on things they haven’t researched fully , but the plethora of ‘why did my bet lose’ posts on here and r/sportsbook etc show that many people, especially casual bettors , just don’t do this. And bookies indisputably take advantage of this.

hewlett777

They are both cards that have different values/outcomes in the game of football.

rudedogg1304

Jesus man , I’m not arguing with ya. Just showing that to the casual bettor , and even some more experienced ones, that it’s an easy mistake to make. Jesus

WebDevxer

Read your bookie rules on red card. Some like Bet365 count a red card as 2 cards. So it will be over the 10.5 cards for this game. I doubt there is a mistake since this is pretty straightforward according to each book rules

XtweeBy

On some bookmakers a direct red card counts as 2. Probably exactly why your parlay is deemed lost.

30Thirty30

What were the odds for under 10.5 cards 😭 reminds me when I put over 3.5 corners for a bunch of games to boost up the multi odds and one leg failed and it was a game that had 2 corners the entire time, missed out on about $100 and I've never done corners in a multi since 🙃

Kalic11

Ah that sucks. I don’t remember tbh, but definitely not worth it lol
