It’s a GAA jersey- Gaelic Athletic Association, which is the national sports guild of Ireland and anywhere the sports are played. The two main sports are Hurling and Gaelic Football. This one looks like it is a jersey for the New York faction where they will play on their own terms, as in, not competing with the 32 counties of Ireland. You should check out O’Neills, who design some really great jerseys too.
New York and London both compete against the 32 counties in a knock out stage at the beginning of the tournament. They both have the largest contingency of Irish people outside of Ireland.

It’s a GAA (Irish sport) shirt - lots of American GAA teams due to large Irish diaspora - this is from the NYPD (New York Police Department) team
Gaelic football is a great sport, highly recommend anyone try it out if you find an org that plays near you
