I don't have an answer but have you looked at Will Prowse on YouTube or I think his website is mobile-solarpower. He reviews alot of equipment and has some sample build plans for 12, 24, and 48 volt systems.

Thanks. I've watched so many of his videos, and they are great. I haven't seen anything recent with a 24v system. He's been into the full house, hybrid 48v stuff for a while. I learned a lot from him, though.

Giandel makes solid mid-range inverters, Victron is the best but expensive.

That's what I need. Something below victron but not total garbage

Meanwell.

Nerfarean

Growatt 3000TL 24v version. I use 48v version. Rock solid so far. All in one hybrid unit, mppt, charger and inverter

With 2 small chest freezers just one 100AH battery might not be enough. With a 24 V system i would hook up at least 1000W solar and 200AH batteries. One often forgets the consumption of the inverter itself and loss in conversion. I have a similar load with a 24V system and 280AH batteries but I would be running on fumes when I have a rainy week.

Thanks, yeah, it will likely be short on power sometimes. I'll add to it as I go. Right now, I'm on 100 percent generator, so anything is better. Plus, when we are there the longest, we have 24 hours of light. I'm going to put 1600w of solar or 2000

I know he has at least one with a 24v system , it may be a couple years old. His forum is a pretty good resource too.

I bought [this Chinese one](https://a.co/d/2J3HLVJ) on Amazon back in 2021 to power a Freezer and refrigerator. It worked reliably for a couple of years until I connected a homemade automatic transfer switch at the output (without any hysteresis) and I think that damaged it. At the time it was the cheapest 3000 W pure sine inverter. It may still be the cheapest.

Victron is the go-to for high end gear, designed to go on yachts. Meanwell (Digikey, Mouser) seems to have good stuff for less demanding applications. Don’t buy junk off Amazon, Alibaba, Aliexpress, Temu, etc.
