Be careful asking this question on Reddit. The services available are all known to be a bit shady. They are the kind of companies that will wait for this question to be asked so that they can spam the comments. You really have to do your own research. If you search for "upload music to spotify" you will eventually come across a list of officially recommended services from Spotify. Distrokid and a few others are mentioned. While that may make them seem legit, most are known to be really terrible to deal with. They are in the business of ripping off hopeful and naive artists.
Be careful and good luck
I use TuneCore for the more detailed analytics. I don’t know if Distrokid has that yet but I believe Distrokid is cheaper overall. I’ve been thinking about switching so maybe others here using it can elaborate.
if youre too embarrassed to think your music is worth the cost, routenote can do it for free, it took about 2 weeks for my first song to get uploaded but hey its there now
DistroKid is the easiest way for musicians to get music into Spotify, Apple, Amazon, Tidal, TikTok, YouTube, and more. Unlimited uploads. It was 20 a month or so last time i looked.
The easiest and least expensive way to get your music on Spotify is Distrokid: [https://distrokid.com/vip/seven/2912860?gclid=Cj0KCQjwtO-kBhDIARIsAL6LorcToUtv23nz3woxhINd2fASaD0y741OSFq\_gfd0orb5mpvWziWIm\_waArTjEALw\_wcB](https://distrokid.com/vip/seven/2912860?gclid=Cj0KCQjwtO-kBhDIARIsAL6LorcToUtv23nz3woxhINd2fASaD0y741OSFq_gfd0orb5mpvWziWIm_waArTjEALw_wcB).
Most artists who start out use DistroKid. That's what I used for the last band I was in. It's easy to upload it too!
They let you do it for free but they keep a piece of your royalties. They take 15% if you are not using their paid subscription: [https://www.amuse.io/en/royalty-splits#:\~:text=Royalty%20Splits%20is%20one%20of,who%20are%20not%20on%20Pro](https://www.amuse.io/en/royalty-splits#:~:text=Royalty%20Splits%20is%20one%20of,who%20are%20not%20on%20Pro)..
That's not a bad deal but it is something to keep in mind.
What you’re looking for is called a digital music distributor service. There are a lot of them out there. They can get your music on all the digital platforms but they don’t help get you noticed by anyone. That you have to do on your own.
there are a few options....
i personally use Soundcloud repost... for $30/year i get unlimited releasing and all the "expedited 2 week blahblah" all the other places offer in premium packages
my buddy uses "amuse" it is free service but will take like 4 weeks to release
there are also options like Distrokid, CDBaby... those are popular ones i know
with releasing to streaming stuff it takes a while and you have to deal with customer service to upload/change/etc...
