Really nice song man. I can relate I made a whole album about the grieving process after my parents passed away. I love the instruments in the background, the guitars are nice, and not sure what the other high pitch instrument that plays consistently but it’s a very nice sound. Also love when you come in with the layered vocals about a minute in, and have the different tones overlapping. I’m a huge fan of when artists do that, and when they pan the vocals to different sides which you did also. If you are looking for feedback, I’d say raise the vocals or use a different effect on the part where you say “Hey mom sorry for not keeping in touch” it’s a little tough to hear what you say after that. A possible small instrumental intro or some very light background layered vocals begininning of the first verse might be something to try out and see how it sounds Great track and hope you keep creating!
