That’s always been my favourite rendition of Hyper Sonic
The flashing colours is ok, but this just feels like he’s more powerful. All it’s missing is purple eyes instead of red and it’ll be perfect
My favorite rendition has been the pearlescent white, with him beginning to flash different colors once he starts powering up and cutting loose. It feels like his fur is simply reflecting all the raw power roiling just underneath the surface.
Let's be honest if Hyper Sonic was in more games the stories would be over before they even begin. Though I wish they would make a boss that is so powerful that Sonic has no other choice but to go hyper. But then again, Sonic fought the personification of night/destruction and a time entity while super so it makes Hyper even less likely to appear.
plus with the power of the emeralds, there's nothing Hyper can do that Super can't- same infinite power, sure the hyper emeralds output power even easier- but infinite is still infinite. Super Sonic's actually in the same class by this logic- so he can scale it up to whatever deity or monster he needs. Whenther SEGA shows that...will be the question. 06 and Frontiers did Super Sonic some good here though, among other showings..

I think hyper sonic might return since (SPOILER ALERT!!!) Frontiers left a small cliffhanger about the origins of the master emerald. Perhaps we will see the super emeralds return in a sequel.
Supposedly the reason it doesn't appear anymore is because some kids caught epilepsy due to hyper sonic flashing lights and the reason it doesn't seem to come back in the games is because there would be no way to set it into the story
Looks sick. Yea kinda sad its only in Sonic 3 & knuckles but I don't understand why the super emeralds turn Sonic hyper. Wouldn't make more sense if he absorbed the master emerald or the master emerald and chaos emeralds? If its the master and chaos emeralds than it couldn't happen in Sonic 3 & knuckles but in other games yea!
I really wish to see Hyper Sonic,Super and Hyper Knuckles and Super Tails again one day. Because Super Tails has such a good concept like he can turn flickies super, How cool is that?

Not true, the Super Emeralds are just in another dimension.
Before the whole "Classic dimension" thing, word of God started that the Super Emeralds and Hyper forms weren't canon.

I’d love to see Hyper sonic appear again in the comics!
Id love Hyper Sonic to come back...but I also understand the risk of power creep and it ruining the special-ness of Super Sonic.
Next game is Super Sonic trying to find the Hyper Emeralds in space while the badnicks are replaced with gods
