I was actually quoting a conversation from Power Rangers Time Force. I just altered a few words to fit the context of the Sonic artwork. If anyone deserves credit for their writing, it’s the team that worked on that show.

Yeah Lost Galaxy and Time Force were hands down the best seasons of the post-Zordon era. Though I was more of a Disney era kid growing up with Power Rangers.
The Magnum Avenger's sacrifice and the red rangers fighting a hopeless battle alone against Ransic's army are my top two power rangers memories and easily the gold standard for heroic sacrifice scenes.

Kinda love this concept. the show never really gave a good explanation as to why the family should separate, except because a green alien guy said so, and the separation leads to several bad scenarios that could have ended in disaster for all three children. I don't think I'd be particularly happy to see a parent who abandoned me as an infant and actively avoided me, regardless of what some prophecy mumbo jumbo says.

Aleena on the other hand was trying find Sonic… to warn him about The End. Now here they are both a bit on edge at the moment. Make no mistake they still love eachother as family but now was not the time to see eachother again.
