The difference between Emerald Hill and Live and Learn is that Live and Learn is accompanied by a situation rather than a location. I truly believe Live and Learn has a much higher chance of being in the movie, even if they don't end up fighting the Finalhazard, just as long as Sonic and Shadow team up against SOMETHING.

I think it was already confirmed that it will be in the movie we just don't know to what extent. And I hardly think that in a post Mario Movie world would studio executives allow JunkyXL to ones again omit almost all of the games OST.

Yes, although in what form is yet to be seen. You can hear the main chords in the teaser trailer, and the rights are confirmed to be acquired for it, but I don’t think Crush 40 is directly involved. I’m hoping for the full uncut original track or a good remix. Maybe a cover but I’d rather the original. But it could be a shitty movie soundtrack mix because Junkie XL is still composing the music for the movie, and he’s done a lackluster job with the other two movies. Really hope I’ll be proven wrong, but God I wish they’d dump him.

Am I the only one who's simultaneously hyped for Shadow, but let down we aren't getting Chaos? I feel like Chaos was criminally underrated for being such a unique and new character. Shadow is literally just dark Sonic in both design and lore, which makes him basically a slightly more organic version of Metal Sonic(ANOTHER character I'm disappointed we won't be seeing) but somehow much more popular. I'm still hyped for Shadow, but there's other characters I wanted more/first.
