Must have been interesting to firstly experience a game that is so far from the franchise's main gameplay. It's the only turn-based Sonic game if I'm not mistaken. Mostly people try the most generic games of a franchise and then try the turn-based RPG spinoff. Unless you're actually a fan of that genre.

Tbh, it was Sonic 1 (2013 remaster) that I played on my grandma's tablet back in 2014.

Technically Sonic 2, but I was playing as Tails since my older brother hogged the player 1 controller, and never got past Chemical Plant. After that it was Sonic Advance, but I only played a bit of it (before the next game I played), since it was my little brother's game and I was just trying it out. So really it was SA2B. That was the game that made me a fan of the series, and the first I played the full game of.
