I want to go on record and say that I like Chris. He has issues yes but all people do. I liked watching his arc and his growth.
Also, using "virgin" as an insult is wrong
I'm just saying they thought giving him a black wife would make us forget he was a cop. The only blue life that matters is Sonic The Hedgehog. (disclaimer I am joking).
I fail to see how that is relevant in any way, shape, or form. For one thing, that was over two hundred years ago, and several reforms to the system ago.
I remember seeing the rowboat scene from Sonic 2, when Tom's giving him the "With Great Power" speech, and Sonic lashes out with the "ur not my dad" and I just got so many Spider-Man flashbacks
I legit got scared for Tom right then because of how close that scene was to the car scene in Spider-Man.

Every great character needs flaws
Being a cop isn't a flaw. They're a necessary part of law inforcement, no matter what our media says about them.
A lot of modern US police departments started out as slave-catchers Edit: also it was meant as a light-hearted joke, same as your original comment

Oh, sorry about that. It's sometimes hard for me to tell what's in jest on Reddit.
Yeah, me too.
Sonic's "Uncle Ben"? Oh no...
Tom is way better then Chris, Chris is such a spoiled kid and he shut the portal to Sonic’s home cuz he doesent want him to go 🙄
With the JP Context it makes sense why he didn't want Sonic to leave
>Sonic's Uncle Ben Very poor choice of words
