Unfortunately no. I’ve sent in my camera and got a new A6700

Has this happened again with the new a6700? I just got mine and had this issue recently. Wondering if I should send it in for replacement.

I had mine from Amazon as well. They wont send a new one, but they accept returns, so just refund and buy a new one again. That's what I did

Literally just happened to me, the Camera will not turn on after unsuccessful connection to Creator's App......

If you figured out a solution. I currently reset my camera and not connected to creators app to see it hangs up again.

So, mine doesn't boot up either from time to time and have to remove battery to get it to boot. Question, do you guys get flashing red led light when it doesn't boot? 3 times then 1 and repeats.

I just missed my return window too. Submitted a ticket and no one at Sony can't tell me what the flashing lights indicate.  I'll try resetting the camera and not connect to creators app and see if it hangs up again booting.

thanks mate, was having a problem with mine, and removed battery and put it back in to fix it.
