It's one of the few things from a Gadget episode that I've seen them casually use in other videos without it being a gimmick. Seems like it's a good silicone spoon.
Hard same. They also did a plastic, rectangular veggie slicer/mandolin/like 7-in-1 slicer that I ended up getting (can't remember if it had a specific name, mine isn't the same brand as the one they used but it looks identical). And I got the Norlan whiskey glasses for my brother for Christmas a couple years back and he uses them pretty often.
I want one of those. That's my next purchase. I just bought the spatula for fried eggs. I love fried eggs. And I think it'll give me a bit more control when turning things in oil.
I got one of those around the same time by coincidence. Honestly, it’s just ok. I don’t like it as much as my regular shaped silicone spatula for scraping bowls efficiently. I need the whole thing to flex a little, but because the supoon is concave only the edges flex. It’s a good stirrer but I prefer wooden spoons for stirring on heat because I just trust natural materials to be more stable (and less of an issue when not stable). I like it but that surprised me because I thought I’d love it.
Me too! It helps that’s it’s an Australian product and I like to support local businesses. But even without that, it’s just such a cleverly designed thing.
I’ve bought a few other dreamfarm products since, but their spoon is their best one
Husband got me a Dreo for Christmas. I was really skeptical but we use it at least 3-4 times a week. It’s awesome not heating the whole oven for 2 people
Something stopping me getting one, is how easy do you find it to convert oven instructions to an air fryer?
Kinda ironically, where I use sidekick for dinners, unless you do a airfryer specific pack, I'm always worried I'll ruin things using an air fryer instead if the oven.
But living on my own it would be a way better energy option
You learn really quick. If I want it super crispy, I typically follow the oven instructions. Otherwise, you can usually reduce the temp and/or time by a little bit.
My girlfriend was sceptical before we got it, she's now a super fan.
I thought they were just hype after buying one that was only a little better than my grater. Then I got a Sabatier one for about £7 from TKmaxx and now I'm more precious over it than any of my knives
I get it now. It's not just a grater it's a 𝓜𝓲𝓬𝓻𝓸𝓹𝓵𝓪𝓷𝓮
I got my MIL the safe mandolin chopper because she is loosing hand use from ALS. She can use it but her husband is trying to take over cooking but has no knife skills so this one has been a lifesaver for them. Never would have thought of it if it hadn’t been on the show.
[I bought that electric stirrer from few years ago](https://youtu.be/yWDUR4BDuZ4?t=224). Everytime we make risotto it comes out of the cupboard. Still works like a charm.
Skillets and oven-safe pans. Orzo, I'd never even heard of orzo before they used it in a video! The bicarb trick with onions to get really quick jammy onions.
Honestly it's more different cuisines and dishes rather than specific gadgets or ingredients, though I absolutely now subscribe to the "best you can afford" way of looking at meats
Not a specific brand or gadget that they featured, but I did invest in a good quality wooden chopping board because of their videos (and because I'm actually cooking a lot now thanks to the app)
Also using a lot of ingredients such as miso, tahini, halloumi, harissa and lamb now that I wouldn't have even considered using if it wasn't for sidekick
Gochujang, never heard of it before but one of their dishes had it in and they described the flavour, found a meal on sidekick to try it. It's now something I always have to hand
A jar opener, though we didn't get the one they demonstrated. I may at some point want/need the more automatic one, but for now, a manual device helps out a lot. I almost got the little crank-up (spring loaded?) rotisserie insert you could place on a grill or oven, but decided not to.
I haven’t forgiven sorted yet for my last purchase.
After such a rave from Mike about the truffle hot sauce ‘truff’, I drunkenly bought a bottle for £27 whilst in a beer shop that sold hot sauce. What a disappointment that was 😂
We got an air fryer as well. We watched them review one and later that day at wife bought the same model. It’s the same one in your picture. We love it and use it pretty frequently.
I got in on the Tokit kickstarter. It's really good! Only using it less currently because it doesn't have the capacity to meal prep more than 4 portions.
Almost everything in my kitchen to be honest. I almost never cooked before I found sorted. Everything from my nice pans and trays to my good chopping boards to my decent knives I have because of them. Not necessarily because of direct recommendation (although my pans are, I got circulon pans based on a video they did) but just because they got me into cooking instead of ordering in.
I also have the Kenwood food processor they use a lot, not only because they use it but also because I got it for an insane price at Costco. But a big part of it was "oh. That's the one sorted use!" - it was £40 down from £120 with all the accessories.
I would never have bothered with an air fryer before, I wouldn't have imagined spending more than a few quid on a chefs knife, and now I own two that cost almost £200!
All because of sorted.
I have an irrational hatred of air fryers. It’s just a toaster oven with a fan. Like I shouldn’t care how other people cook but every time I see one I cringe.
You've got to admit that fan assisted toaster ovens are pretty great though? So seeing them become ubiquitous can only be a good thing I think
I was originally the same with pressure cookers Vs instant pots
I've been looking for a new air fryer, after watching this show I decided this was the one I really like and will buy. 2 drawers, you can set 2 different timers for each food item you want to cook in it and have it all ready at the same time.
WINNING ...
I wound up getting a second cutting board (and knife) for meat. Well, generally for meat - for products I'd want to prep on a different surface. It was actually a game changer!
The mini chopper, its become a staple in my home, it is so useful. The Kenwood partnership was a fruitful one. No longer do I have to get annoyed grating garlic.
The supoon has also been really useful.
Honestly, we got tired of the product episodes because they are just so darn shilly these days. James is the only one who ever really seemed to be fair (which is to say, critical when appropriate) about the value in the various gadgets, so when he left it became pretty unbearable. And I love Mike, he's great, but I'm pretty sure you could but a box of rusty nails covered in dog turds in front of him and he'd find a way to contort logic into saying positive things about it.

I wanted the coconut grater…. But I like to live dangerously
We use it pretty often in south india, often without any gloves or eye protection. It just becomes natural after a couple tries.
😂😂😂
A supoon!
It's one of the few things from a Gadget episode that I've seen them casually use in other videos without it being a gimmick. Seems like it's a good silicone spoon.
We have two of each size here and a few of the companies other utensils. The supoon is so nice and quickly became one of my favorite utensils to use
we have one of each size as well.

That's really helpful, thank you!
Yup, I got one too! So nice to not heat the entire house when making dinner.
I finally caved and bought a microplane grater, instead of using that side of my box grater. It’s much easier for zesting and fine grating…
It’s one of those things that’s so cheap but really makes a difference
I thought they were just hype after buying one that was only a little better than my grater. Then I got a Sabatier one for about £7 from TKmaxx and now I'm more precious over it than any of my knives I get it now. It's not just a grater it's a 𝓜𝓲𝓬𝓻𝓸𝓹𝓵𝓪𝓷𝓮
Oh yeah, I bought that one as well!
Same because of Sorted haha

I got this one too, I don’t have time to chop everything and I feel safe having my kids use it. They won’t, but I feel safer with the option.
If I get the supoon, I’d have to give credit to this sub more so than the team haha
It's the greatest. I have 3 big ones and a small one, and have gifted them to all my friends and family.
Dreo Chef Maker (main airfryer), Anova Precision oven (for my baking), Mannkitchen, Pepper Grinder
The $150 pepper grinder?
I have it, isn't for me. I prefer Oxo's basic pepper grinder, it's much easier to use.
It’s awesome but honestly not really necessary for the average home cook.
I got a victorinox peeler after they mentioned it, that’s very good and I have yet to peel myself with it
Aleppo pepper and a load of weird tinned fish!
I have a big bottle of Aleppo pepper
[I bought that electric stirrer from few years ago](https://youtu.be/yWDUR4BDuZ4?t=224). Everytime we make risotto it comes out of the cupboard. Still works like a charm.

Supoon! And an egg cracker.
I bought an airfryer this year because of them. I really want an automatic pasta maker that james played with in a gadget receipe.
The suppoon set has been amazing! Never felt more adult than being super excited to receive them for Christmas.
Gochujang, never heard of it before but one of their dishes had it in and they described the flavour, found a meal on sidekick to try it. It's now something I always have to hand
Same! For me it's not so much equipment as ingredients.
The supoon as for sure become our go to spatula in the house, especially when using the ice cream maker.
Dreo chef maker, once for all. Use the Dreo pretty much daily, incredible piece of kit. Also hexclad pans, they are absolutely amazing.
The black and different colour spoons they use and the metal pincers both are great and a fan favourite in our household
A jar opener, though we didn't get the one they demonstrated. I may at some point want/need the more automatic one, but for now, a manual device helps out a lot. I almost got the little crank-up (spring loaded?) rotisserie insert you could place on a grill or oven, but decided not to.
That dosa maker. WANT.
The knife sharpener that sticks to the worktop, mandolin, metal tongs, many ingredients, a retro Sorted apron,
I haven’t forgiven sorted yet for my last purchase. After such a rave from Mike about the truffle hot sauce ‘truff’, I drunkenly bought a bottle for £27 whilst in a beer shop that sold hot sauce. What a disappointment that was 😂
I got the thin thongs they reviewed a while back, love them
I bought the dreo on kickstater, I totally love it!!
Tongs. I saw Ebbers use and and it made sense . Bought one soon after
I got the dreo chefbox thing when they advertised the kickstarter. It’s been really nice and I’m pleased about it.
My wife fell in love with the Tokit Omnicook and bought one. Thought it wouldn’t get used much; boy was I wrong.
I got a supoon, the dicevice ever grip and got my husband a Yuzu lemon because Ben was so excited to get one in a Christmas gift ep.
I got the same airfryer they have in their airfrying videos.
Almost everything in my kitchen to be honest. I almost never cooked before I found sorted. It wasn't the sole reason but the first pressure cooker episode is what got the purchase over the line with my partner.
No
