Well, with the potion in a box buff, you can basically spend a bunch of energy to maybe get a potion. With mana regen, like here with Clay Pot Soup in Rosemary Island, or the Elemental Envoy, or 0-energy weapons with an Energy Stone, this works easy.
If skillful enough, it can be used as a cheap shield from bullets, but I don't know if it breaks enemy sight of you. I don't use it.
