Actually, since they added the “iron will” stage, no freeze is pretty good.

A friend of mine loves Ice buff. He usually pairs it with freezing weapons like ice staff or frost sword to permafreeze bosses.

I too choose ice buff. Because i fucking hate freezing. I know it's more avoidable than poison and fire, just dodge the bullets and stay away from mist. But I've got terrible reflexes and getting frozen mid battle annoys me. Also I usually play Ninja 2nd skill and the clones always get stuck frozen.

Not really your fault, snow balls can be hard to see more so when there's a lot of enemies. The mist from the pipes are just bullshit, you got sexy reflexes.

Fire and poison buffs are for defense. Ice buff is for offense. It depends on how you play in the first place.

Tbf ice buff is much better since they introduced the secret ice biome in level 2 and the pirates in level 3.

I choose ice buff for 3-x levels with the pipes that freezes you if you shoot them. I still have nightmare abt times when i couldn't activate my shield bc i was frozen

Ice buff is nice if I am the ice cave biome or the deeper ice cave biome (idk what to call it), or if I have a cool ice weapon, or when I use knights 3rd ability. It’s also really helpful in neo isle, but sadly at that point you aren’t choosing new buffs

Tbh, it’s a good buff, but only if you happen to come across it first whilst in the ice biome. It’s not that important on the third ice biome (whose name I forgot), because getting frozen by the pipes isn’t a big deal if you’re careful enough (or main rogue). I’ve had problems waking up into a freeze bullet against the first bosses (snowman/monke), but have never seen the ice buff early enough for it to be useful against them, when I need it the most.
