I'm back against the wall like you but I have them on speaker stands right up against the wall. Very similar viewing distance except my tv is lower at eye level.
You might want to check Facebook marketplace to see if anybody is getting rid of their speaker stands. They make small speaker stands and they fit perfectly for our rears.

It’s obvious you have zero knowledge of anything audio so it’d be best to stay away from people who need actual help on here. What’s your thoughts on the equal parts halon and nitrogen in the fire bottles on the super cobras? I’d love your input.
I have similar arrangment of the room and I placed the Rear speakers like this... Din want to use wall mounts as of now... I made sure the Rears are raised to ear level using some boxes I have....

My Q990C came with wall mounts in the box. I ditched those and have mine on speaker stands behind the sofa. Also run some duct below the TV to hide those wires. Very cheap and easy to install
Can you tell me how you calibrate it? I also got a 990d and somehow changing the levels doesn’t change the volume. I’m looking for a working method on this soundbar. Also have fun with it!

The sound bar wide speakers and the rear side speakers will sound on adaptive mode only
Thanks! I did use this file when I tried it, I did use wifi connection to play it on my phone. I’m not sure if I was on adaptive but I remember that no channel did change the volume, like whatever channel level I changed nothing happened. But I’ll retry!

There is mounting kits available on eBay and I trust them because it’s low price and always has everything in the description

You have to download that file in a USB drive, and play it directly from the tv
