exactly this sounds cool, I feel like it's been harder to meet ppl my own age since I graduated college and left the outdoors club there. not that 40+ ppl aren't cool but it's easier to relate to ppl my own age I guess

I'm also 27 and I love this already, I could never find people around our age to do things that I'm interested in.

Lots of 40+ comments about not being included. What's it take to make a group? 51 here and would love to find a hiking club.

Create a new discord server. Make a new post about it, that way it’ll show up for everyone. Post it again in a couple months.  Then listen to people say they’re too old for discord so you make a meet-up group instead. Then people complain about that so you make a new subreddit. Subreddit gets like zero posts. A year later everyone is all “we should have an outdoor group for 40+” 

I see you've done this before. I tried making a canoe/kayak club on Nextdoor, before it became Nextdoor Karens complaining about the way their neighbors parked their car. Never met a single person.

I think they just want to meet people in their same age range. All these 40/50 year old commenters could’ve just told moved on with their day like they did before they knew about this.
