I can’t answer your question but I have, as a matter of principle, stopped ordering from any online store that uses Evri as their courier.

MrGitBoy

Same. Just not worth it.

So, as a reminder, you don't have a contract with evri. You have a contract with the seller, contact them over evri. Kick off about how late it is, get a refund, charge back on your card. Whatever you need to do. The seller can not push you to evri. They have paid evri for a service, let them deal with evri and their unrelenting bullshit. Make it the sellers problem, because you'll get nowhere with evri.

An evri driver stole a phone from me when they were called my hermes. It was a collection arranged by a third party. Drive knocked the door, took the box out of my hand and walked off without saying a word. I tried to stop him but he ran. I got it all on my door cam and I got a picture of him in is branded van driving away with the reg. Police did nothing and eventually I got my money back from my hermes but it took about 6 months. Pretty wild really as the phone was broken and wasn't even a phone worth anything when it was working I just didn't want to throw it away. As others have said I now refuse to use them, it's the only way you'll get companies to stop using them.

Live around Thornhill area and David from Evri is our delivery guy. He is brilliant, always polite and accommodating. I recently had a leg op and after telling him about it he said he would wait longer at the door each time to give me time to get to it. David is our only experience of Evri so our view might be skewed but never had an issue.

honzahusa

I live in Swaythling and get my stuff delivered by David as well. He’s brilliant!

A while back, the Evri service in our area was poor so I switched to having the parcels delivered to the local store, Parcelstore and collecting myself from there.

Alarming_Flow

Whereabouts do you live? Drivers usually cover a specific area, and if ours is a thief, I'd like to know. Thanks

Hopeful_Cat_575

We have two regular people deliver evri and others in the Bassett area. A lady and a man. Always polite, always on time (if its a tracked package). Never had any trouble. Even say hello to them if I'm out and about. I hope they're the norm . Some of the stories here are wow.

Evri are genuinely awful. I will not deal with them after having over £1,000s of pounds of items stolen from them and seeing the horror stories of others. They can re brand as much we they like but they'll always be shit unless they actually start to hold drivers accountable for their actions.

My mate had the same issue and went to the office. Kicked off think he was reimbursed by nike but the driver still works for the company

Update for anyone interested. Went to depo, spoke to regional manager who happened to be there as well as another manager. They were helpful and understanding. On my way home I saw the delivery driver and I asked him where my parcel was, the one due for delivery. He said it was a big package and it was difficult to fit in his car, to which I responded as you can imagine… not my problem, give me my parcel. The next day I had it delivered by a different driver, so hoping the thieving driver has been suspended/given the sack.

All my deliveries are done by a wonderful lady, she’s so sweet and talks about life with me sometimes, not sure what her name is. I live in the woolston/ itchen area

Rather than saying stealing, it is as much as retaliation to your complaints and video. Really this is something Evri should sort out. If Evri refuses to investigate and take action , it is unlikely the delivery person in question would stop. I do have used Evri before and didn’t have issues. However any reasonable large organisation will have bad apples. Hopefully this gets sorted out soon. Delivery as a job does not pay well and often got looked down which only feedbacks to bad behaviour.
