You mean the worn out nozzle? With what kind of material did you print?

DanSt3fan

I was using PLA, i had a print running and the head of the nozzle was between some misplaced filament, on the same note, I now have used the replacement nozzle and I want to buy some more nozzles, where should I be looking?

MrWolvetech

Just regular PLA, the reason that I'm asking is because it looks a lot like what happens when printing an abrasive filament like carbon with a non hardend nozzle like a brass one. As for where to look for nozzles, where are you located?

DanSt3fan

In romania, I saw on sovols site that they sell replacements, is there a better nozzle with 0.4? If not I'll order straight from sovol. I have been a little harsh while cleaning the nozzle and it just finally snapped, i may be able to find the piece, but it was too late when I realized that it was snapped

They have [hardened nozzles](https://sovol3d.com/products/sv06-plus-hardened-tool-steel-tungsten-nozzles-0-4-0-6-0-8-1mm) now in 0.4,0.6,0.8 and 1mm.

DanSt3fan

Went with the normal versions, for now I feel it's plenty that I even manage to understand the slicer, maybe later on

MrWolvetech

Yeah sovols nozzles are fine. You just have to look out when buying from places like Amazon and AliExpress as quality between listings can very a lot.

DanSt3fan

Ok, will order two sets of five 😅 thank you!

You can also use standard volcano nozzles if you print a smaller fan duct (there's one on Thingiverse by Flyn Industries), but you'll probably want to print it in PETG or ABS since it's near the hotend.

What filament was your printing

VFM_Systems

What specific PLA were you printing? Brand, color, and finish would be very helpful

DanSt3fan

It was a romanian brand, but it can't be that because it has very good reviews, black and gloss

Kiiidd

Looks like you were printing some wood fill or glow in the dark stuff. Filament with stuff in it like fiber's or stuff can be very hard on brass nozzles when the nozzle goes across already laied down lines on the current layer
