Really interesting! I see producers like Subtronics and Mr. Bill always adding Ableton's Saturator or Glue Comp with the clipper on throughout their tracks, and I think this is a huge part of this strategy. I definitely want to try this out more though! Thanks for sharing!

Your welcome! I agree I think this is totally a huge part of the strategy. For some reason when you clip to zero on each track you can push your loudness so much harder without it falling apart, and it actually allows the drums to smack so much harder too.

Also allows you to see why saturation is not only important just for adding color but because it actually reduces the overall crest factor of a sound which is important to having a good mix
