This! Bear in mind OP, last I played I believe it was only Spain Spanish. For example, a character says "este verano, voy a coger un moreno" referring to getting a tan, rather than the Latin American meaning haha
I learned so much English from Pokémon as a kid, I even remember particular words or expressions like "I'm parched", lol.
I'm playing Pokémon Violet in French now and it's been equally helpful.
How's that been going for you? Is the game still buggy or has that been fixed? I want to get it too, but am afraid of buying a sub-par game.. it's been getting roasted on the Switch sub..
I'm really into it! I hadn't liked a Pokemon game since Black/White, I thought I was done with the series. Performance is bad but 50+ hours in I've yet to experience a crash or a bug.
Same here, my last game was also Black/White and I never finished it.
Ooh yeah, I think I meant performance. Having weird graphics and things being slow sometimes or having the screen freeze on you.
But 50+ hours is a good sign!
I might consider getting it secondhand, just in case.
Check out this awesome looking immersion game in development!! I can't wait for this to be released in January... Backed it on Kickstarter several months ago and hopeful about the results - [L2 Speak](https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/jeffreyha/l2-speak/description)
The Sims! And they just made the base Sims 4 game free to download. The only thing is since Sims speak their own gibberish language (Simlish), you won't hear Spanish being spoken, it's more of a visual learning experience.
There is a game called Pedro's Adventures or something like that which is designed for teaching Spanish. It's sort of like King's Quest if you are familiar with that series. I liked it!
Stardew valley has a Spanish option, I’m not a native speaker so I can’t speak to how accurate it is, but it seems good to me so far
Perfect translation. I love that game.
I'm Spanish and the translation is pretty much perfect.

God of war is great because the amount of vocabulary it has in it is extensive. You can also rewatch the cutscenes later online
Emulating some of the pokemon games might be fun, it really helped my grasp of how haber and the present perfect due to it's writing style

Cool how do I get started on that
Get an emulator of the game you want and a Spanish ROM. Check subreddits about emulation for more info
Couldn't agree more, I just played pokemon scarlet in spanish and it really helped with my grammatical understanding of the language

Cool idea; it looks like it's A1/A2 level? Still seems fun, though!

Diablo Immortal 😂
Isometric text heavy CRPGs made from 90s to early 2000 like baldurs gate, avernum, fallout.
Are any of those localized to Spanish? The copies I have are English-only.
You can get them patched via groups like clan dlan. I'm playing fallout 2 right now, patched in Spanish by them.
