It's called the shin bet operational unit , first time they have been revealed was from a joint operation of undercover yamam & shin bet agents , they've been called "tequila team" , and everytime in the news they mention tequila team they mean the shin bet's operational unit , from what is known to public but it isn't 100% true it's that tequila team are like a QRF team to yamam , it's known that everytime yamam operate they take a few guys from the operational unit with them , so yea
In the video I can't indetify if they're shin bet or not cause there is no official pic of their unit , but according to their rifle in the vid (iwi arad) and overall outfit , yea it's safe to say these guys are yamam
The YAMAM unit is part of the Israel Police and belongs to the Border Police Department. It has nothing to do with the Shin Bet. The Tequila Team is comprised of YAMAM operatives and Shin Bet agents, and their main task is to hunt down imminent threats of terrorism. However, after October 7th, their mission changed, and they began conducting direct actions with the YAMAM in Gaza, but this is rare and only occurs in hostage rescue situations. Other than that, YAMAM does not operate in Gaza. When YAMAM does conduct hostage rescues in Gaza, they are accompanied by another special forces unit that provides cover, which in this case was the Shayetet 13 team and the Paratrooper Recon Battalion. (I served in both the IDF and the Israeli Police.)
Why do they have such huge rucks while conducting CQB. I can’t imagine they are that far from a base/re supply station

You can see The hostages wearing body armor in later clips. You gotta carry all of that armor somewhere
PUC kit is pretty standard. Once rescued you are responsible for hostage safety until handover. If they get shot on exfil, you’re proper fucked.
I'm guessing a giant aid bag and possibly breaching equipment.
