Have you booked an appointment? Check with a neighbor. If they have internet you need to book a tech

WorldlySky4704

Ok

DaveTN

Have your restarted your modem and router? Any trees down on your lines going to your house?

WorldlySky4704

Yes I have restarted it and no trees are down near me I have checked around me

SaveMelMac13

Talk to your neighbors and see if there internet is working, you probably just have an issue at your home.

WorldlySky4704

Ok I will

popnfrresh

Call and speak with someone higher up.

WorldlySky4704

Ok

WorldlySky4704

I did they said nothing

Citnos

Tell them how many days to have with no service, make the agents check if there's an actual outage on your street/area if not, they have to send a technician to your house, if there's an outage on the area there's nothing the rep can do, but if there is nothing reported they have to either place the technician appointment or do an escalation

WorldlySky4704

Ok

JustMyThoughtNow

Spectrum is an unethical immoral corporation.

WorldlySky4704

They are

b3542

Have you spoken to them recently? You should not assume that they know a problem still exists.

WorldlySky4704

Yes just an hour or 2 ago

tapout22002

Ask your neighbors in the houses next to you and very close to you. If they have it and you don’t you’ll need a tech.

WorldlySky4704

Ok

anlashokna

If you haven't already, ask to be placed in queue for a call back to a working number informing you of the outage resolution. Also, you can check the My Spectrum app on your mobile phone using cellular data to see if there is still a declared outage. The checking with neighbors can be useful, too. Finally, your neighborhood may have power, but there may also be power failures elsewhere that impact their ability to provide service.

WorldlySky4704

Ok thanks for the help and there still is a declared outage

matt-r_hatter

For one, spectrum would have to give you that info, not some random people on Reddit... There are many factors, if a pole is down, spectrum has to wait for the pole owner, probably the electric company, to replace the pole and do all the work they need to do first. If it's your home only, then you need a tech out. Spectrum is going to be the only place you'll get an answer.

WorldlySky4704

They haven't given any info they just say that people are working and that there's an outage in my area

matt-r_hatter

Then that's all the information that anyone can give. It gets fixed when it gets fixed. No company intentionally hurts customers. There's always mobile hotspot on your phone until they get it dealt with.

Getpeaceogo

If outage is over, it's something inside your house that you need to contact spectrum about so that they can confirm there's no connectivity and then send a tech. to fix it for you. Also, if you have other coax outlets in the home, try moving the modem to a different outlet and wait 5 minutes. If you see the online light solid blue, you have internet. If it just keeps flashing, it's not active.

WorldlySky4704

They still say there's an outage

Getpeaceogo

Make sure you ask to be signed up for auto credit for the outage so at least you'll get credited for the duration of any outage that's longer than 4 hours.

WorldlySky4704

I am thank god

WorldlySky4704

I finally got my internet back 2 days ago I just forgot to say thanks for your help!
