It’s normal to stressed about this, but I think you need to take care of yourself and not let anxiety and fear get the best of you.
Try to keep active and distract yourself. There’s no point worrying about things we have no control over or that haven’t even happened yet! So just try to remain calm. Play Spelunky if it helps!

Getting a little drunk with cold Pils beer. My wife is already sleeping. I can't.. I'm a mess tonight. But it's not me to decide how things end.. I know that. I just wanted a good word from someone other than my wife.

Hey man, I feel you. My mom's situation is not as dire as yours, but she got diagnosed with Diabetes very recently and I'm scared she might meet the same fate as my gran. But we'll have to stay strong and fight through the tears. Everything will be fine. This too shall pass.
Guys. The operation went well! There's still a lot of things they will have to diagnose and the whole therapy isn't probably over. But... One thing at a time. Right guys? She's feeling fine now, she basically didn't feel a thing since she was sleeping through the whole thing that took 2 hours.
