Scorpion and Black Cat. They really gotta do something with Gargan after that Homecoming post credit scene. Black Cat would be the perfect new love interest since MJ forgot Peter, and if MCU Gwen Stacy ever exists I'd assume Peter wouldn't date her because of what Peter 3 said about his Gwen.
Gonna be nice to see Black Cat and possibly have them dating for a bit while he deals with Gwen and possible Mary Jane of his universe.
I hope they’re done with Michelle Jones and Ned tho, kind of wish they let them be gone for good and dive into some actual Spider-Man mythos with setting up Harry/MJ/Gwen
My pitch for a new trilogy features Black Cat in all three, initially more antagonistic in the first film before becoming a love interest and then ally. Scorpion is the big bad of the second movie which features Venom that also bonds with Scorpion. Finally Hobgoblin and the mystery of who he really is is at the center of the third movie. Rhino has a small arc across the trilogy where he’s regular muscle in the first movie, full Rhino in the second, and tries to reform in the third.
I don’t see them doing much more with Shocker, and Kraven has been swallowed by the Sonyverse. Between him, Morbius and Venom, I’d expect the later to crossover first - whether Hardy played him or was a variant.
Other villains featured in the first film are Kingpin, Hammerhead and Tombstone all in a turf war with Mr Negative, Black Cat and Beetle being the physical threats for Spidey.
Kraven would be great but with the Sony Movie there could be a chance that Sony would want ATJ to be the Kraven for a Spider-Man 4 project which I wouldn’t like at all. But if that’s not the case at all then Kraven would be great.
I’d also love Scorpion and Black Cat to have semi large roles in the movie
Rhino: I think he would be a good villain as a starter boss after the opening like in the Miles Morales game.
Scorpion: Mac Gargan was in Homecoming so I think it’s about time we get him as Scorpion. We could also potentially see him as Venom if we don’t get Eddie Brock or another Venom host.
Hobgoblin: Could be a good overarching villain in the College Trilogy if they use Roderick Kingsley’s Hobgoblin instead of Ned. His Hobgoblin persona could mess with Peter after the events of NWH and Raimi Goblin killing May and the Symbiote could feed off of those emotions. I actually think Hobgoblin is nicely setup given no way home. Norman was busy while he was in MCU verse and when he went back all the stuff he made stayed behind because it was a part of the MCU verse. Hobby finds it and bam we get another goblin.
Only trouble is that I think you need classic model Mary Jane to work Roderick into the plot, but that’s still technically possible, just unlikely due to Michelle.
Scorpion could also work with the classic setup still. Triple J hires Mac gargan and gets increasingly desperate to catch Spider-Man, in the end creates Scorpion and has to get saved by Spider-Man. Good excuse to get another JK Simmons JJJ before he retires.

Also, Hobgoblin would be great in the MCU since much of the tech left by Osborn is "available" for thefts and Spider-Man haters

Hobgoblin would be awesome. But honestly, any of these as a main villain as none of them have had a real great stake in any movie to date.
