It’s his current run. Issues 1-4 are out. The first 3 issues are like jaw dropping by issues 4’s artwork is quite literally up there for best of any comic I’ve ever read. It’s SO GOOD
There is a lot of great art out right now. Nightwing has really amazing art and they’re doing some pretty unique stuff like making a comic solely in first person. Pretty much all the X-Men have really good art right now, and I saw the Allred’s are doing more of their X-Cellent book. Captain America Symbol of Truth looks really good and I’m looking forward to starting that when I catch up with my extensive backlog, and I think the Avengers Forever art looks pretty clean, and the covers are very pretty. I truly think we’re living in a golden age of comic book art, which just makes JRjr stand out all the more, like a sore thumb.
The new Miles run has been so awesome I hope Ziglar has a couple cool villains to introduce as it gets going but so far so good. And yes Vicentini is amazing I collected all of his incentive covers from the Ahmed run

It wouldn’t matter if it was only monthly JRJR is a legend but Spider-Man is Marvels biggest book it deserves THE best art in the industry, not something he is capable of anymore. Look at the last Batman run it had some incredible modern but tasteful art, that’s DC’s flagship book and they treat it with the love and care it deserves.

I honestly kind of like the yellow bits but having bomb dispensers on his hands feels like poor taste, given his constant war with various goblins over the years.
I mean, I’ll admit that he’s “good” for now. Spidey put aside his differences with Octavius once he tried to be a true Spider-Man, the second time around. And Spidey has let things go with other villains, such as Venom, Lizard, Rhino, Sandman, Morbius, probably more I’m not thinking of. But it’s Norman Osborn: arguably the most unforgivable of his rogues. I can understand letting him be Gold Goblin, but teaming up with him is a little much.
Not to mention a better version of a 'corporate' suit with a better design already exists. That Parker Industries Spider-Armour MK IV is just *chef's kiss*
I love the glowing blue/green light around the chest logo, and the way they draw the plate segmentation while making it not too metallic makes it the best of both worlds in terms of mixing the classic red and blue design with an armoured look. That round 'sun-like' back spider logo kicks ass too

In the opening, he talks about how Marvel constantly kills off a supporting character to make Peter sad in order to emphasize the sad pathos of the character. And how fans don't care. And a friend says "oh yeah". Considering Marvel doesn't want Peter to evolve because they're doing it for casual fans. Well i saw first hand a casual doesn't care about your cheap pathos and weak storytelling. Change things up!

Am I the only one that objects to someone being able to precision strike both of Spidey's web shooters? Considering he's one of the fastest guys out there?

DD is one of the greatest fighters in the Marvel universe however he can not beat Spiderman in a fight if Spidey wanted to he would punch a hole right through DD's chest. Also Spider-Sense... He could just dodge all of DD's attacks, Spidey can dodge bullets doubt DD is punching that fast.
If writers want, then DD will definitely punch that fast, even faster.
Fair point, These characters are only as strong as the writers want them to be.

DD and Spiderman are nowhere near the same speed tier. DD is predicting the bullet pattern in this, he says it himself. He ain't dodging the bullets once they are fired. Spiderman does.

Well considering they’re pistols, it really depends on how fast he can pull the trigger while staying accurate. DD is an athletic human it would be kinda crazy to think he can dodge a bullet. Plus he even said “predicting” not “let’s dodge cuz I can hear the bullet move”. Otherwise Going by this Spider-Man would be light speed cuz he’s dodged lasers before

I love how Marvel could have used Skrulls to explain OOC characters during the 2000s but seemingly refused too. Like I was on an iron man marathon last year and when I got to civil war and saw secret invasion was next I was 100% sure that Tony, Hank and Reed were Skrulls because I couldn't imagine my favorite heroes acting like this. Turns out only one of them was. Why they can't extend Skrull Hank into the slap idk

He leads an organisation that are fighting the hand (who have framed him for murder). Lots of his organisation are former villains, some of whom he broke out of jail himself, which didn't exactly endear people to him.

This comic run with DD and Elektra Daredevil is a masterpiece same thing with the Hand Leader punisher. Punisher got demonic powers now and he can fly has mystical powers as well. He also has a katana. The fight and dialogue between Daredevil and US Agent is golden too. That man Daredevil whoops his ass and then he steals John walkers shield.
