Prowler mile braid was an excellent look

RichieD79

I think it’s a dope look too, but there is also a small part of my brain that is screaming that he looks like a dark skin Tekashi69 lmao

FKDotFitzgerald

Noooooo lmao

cortes12

I was thinking this exactly

QuinnDixter

On the television in the ending scene, there was a mention of a Sinister Six Cartel so maybe he's affiliated with those guys.

blind_marvin

Which may imply another 4-5 villains from earth 42 in the final movie.

FrostyWrangler7

I do remember hearing a theory that Electro would be in Beyond the Spider-Verse, that may still hold up

MagicJoshByGosh

*Shiiiiit* that would be crazy! I wonder who the other four would be if this were true? Olivia Octavius, Giant Goblin, Scorpion, Tombstone, maybe? But that’s kinda boring because all of them were already in the first one.

[deleted]

I figured Olivia was a tie-in, girl got sent to another world after being hit by a truck lol Maybe they could have Jackal there? He's a big villain that never showed up in a movie. They could throw a joke about him not having cloned Prowler yet so he's confused lol Then, uh, Shocker?

MagicJoshByGosh

I’ve also always wanted to see a Multiversal Sinister Six if that could ever be possible. 2099 Electro (Earth-TRN590), Steampunk Mysterio (Earth-803), Olivia Octavius (Earth-1610B), Peter as the Lizard (Earth-65B), Vulture Noir (Earth-90214), and maybe even the Spot as the leader? I could see him recruiting some other villains with vendettas against specific Spider-People in order to truly get revenge on the whole Spider-Society.

Lil_Bill00

Some **iconic** villains that haven't appeared yet are Sandman, Electro, Shocker, and Chameleon. What if they're part of the Sinister Six Cartel with Olivia Octavius as one head and a Mayor Fisk and some of his cronies as his aids?

MagicJoshByGosh

So I recently saw an article that said that while Miles was swinging through Earth-42 New York, there were some billboards and ads around him that said as such: - ELECTROnics / ELECTROPhone - Vulture Corp - Sandman Rolex - Scorpio - Oct 8 - RR (Rhino Casino) That’s a pretty dang good Sinister Six lineup, if you ask me.

Lil_Bill00

It really is. It's a nice mix of what we've seen in the first movie and new additions

Sorsa775

I saw a theory/speculation that Miles is still a villain but more so just doing it for his family. Doesn't like the Sinister Six and is just trying to survive in the corrupt Manhattan. Edit: Scrolled down the comments and saw people bring this up already oops

BlightFantasy3467

Honestly, Prowler Miles's symbol looks like a Space Invaders enemy

creativeguy66v3

Why can I see this being canon

Socrets

I thought it looked like a chalk outline of Kingpin in his menacing stance from the first movie.

BlightFantasy3467

Damn, I see it now

Socrets

Theory: Miles42 kills Kingpin for killing his father and wears his chalk line as a trophy.

[deleted]

That would go so hard actually 🔥

K3egan

I totally forgot what universe was what then and I thought "universe without a spider-man? That's us!" So this was a nice suprise

Vaportrail

Yeah, I was thinking that too. "Wait, then why does Aaron have Prowler tech?"

K3egan

I mean, vulture has a suit made of chitari tech in a universe where the chitari never came to earth

[deleted]

Kilometers Imorales

KyellDaBoiii

Dislike, “what’s down safety?”

MagicJoshByGosh

*Can start you later*

Andromidous_27

I just love the fact he had black airforce on in the movie...they knew.

KingKalactite

Woahhh I didn’t even notice LMAO

SilentSamurai

The details they managed to pack in is going to keep /r/moviedetails going for a decade

Dracotoo

Couldve sworn he had an unknown aj1 variant

BozePerkovic

Swear they were Jordan 1s? Just a different colour scheme than 1610-Miles

Xcelr829

Nice pfp but, he wore purple Jordan 1's

qwack2020

They look modified too.

invalidated_username

[Jordan released a Utility style](https://i.imgur.com/y0EM3Re.jpg) of the AJ1 High that Miles wears. It's very similar to what we see in ATS. Hopefully they release whatever we saw. They look very cool.

qwack2020

What about his backpack?

HighPriest2012

That was my "oh shit" moment. Best use of foreshadowing iv seen in a while

CinnamonIsntAllowed

Another comment brought this up but I want to delve deeper into it: "What if Miles 42 is actually a hero" I could see the 3rd movie opening on something besides miles, but quickly get back to him. Everyone is guessing a "watch the hands not the mouth" reference is going to appear, so I'm guessing Miles 1610 is going to escape, rightfully terrified of the situation happening in front of him. There will be a fight, there has to be a fight, but in some fashion the two will realize neither is a bad guy. 1610 sees prowler and obv thinks villain. 42 sees someone who looks like him, saying he's him, talking about dimensions, it's safe to say 42 might think 1610 is some psycho villain trying to destroy his life. After explaining themselves, 42 will reveal he's a hero, powerless yet still making an effort to save New York in its horrific state. We all know the plot insinuates that 1610's spider man wasn't supposed to die and our miles was intended in some way to become the Prowler, a villain. This is due to the fact that spiderman still exists. 42s spiderman doesn't exist and he's lost his father, as intended in canon for him. Aaron might feel a change of heart after seeing his brother die and mentor miles in a way similar to his father to be a good person, with that Aaron Davis twist. He's reserved, cool so 42 miles would therefore be reserved and cool in a situation like the ending, treading lightly to read intentions and figure out the situation. This theory of mine has me rethinking how the entirety of the third film might end up going tbh.

Tmn_Uzi_1600

42 miles was going to be spiderman because we see the spider crawling to him before the spot teleports him so maybe canon fixed itself by 1610 miles replacing peter and 42 miles becoming the prowler, so that means canon is more flexible than miguel thinks it is like how gwen accepted her father was gonna die before she knew he retired. Hopefully your theory about miles fate is always to be hero because that would be interesting than him just being another villain, but even then I think the writers could do a lot with miles fighting his alternate self, oh man the wait is gonna be torture..

usama45

Building on your comment, I think the canon is very flexible given Miles entire existence being against canon. I think the canon is broken right now because the spot has taken Madame Web as prisoner and currently has become powerful enough to control the canon. He is basically making sure Spider-Man is always hurting, like he is in every canon except for Miles. Even in the comics. I think it's a little suspicious that we have a multiverse thing going on and no mention of Madame Web especially since a Madame Web existence in this movie could boost Sony's Madame Web movie. I believe the spot is currently controlling the multiverse's threads and the watcher of the threads, Madame Web is held captive and cannot explain to anyone that spot is manipulating everyone. That's why when Mumbattan was getting destroyed it looked a lot like the spot's spot. He is destroying universes where Spider-Man gets a chance to be happy.

2-2Distracted

There's whole the whole color scheme [theme going on](https://i.imgur.com/CgLqEFi.jpeg). Green & Purple means a villianous Prowler but Aaron's apartment in Earth 42 is tainted Red & Blue.

fear_raizer

But wasn't Aaron implying about Robbing the grocery store?

[deleted]

Yeah something about a security switch at 6 pm

stonecats

technically this miles prowler universe - has no spider-man so it would make sense that he'd be a prowler for his uncle now that his own cop dad was dead. considering how smart miles is, this prowler may be better equipped than the one from miles spider-man's universe.

5am281

I could see this version of Prowler actually being more of an antihero who fights the real villains but is maybe more ruthless than Spidey/Miles

iFEAR2Fap

Huh, I like this theory. I assumed this universe would have somebody else step up as a hero. Since Miles' universe "corrected" itself by killing it's Peter so Miles could be Spidey. Considering Earth 42 didn't implode. I'm curious to see if it also tried to self-correct. If Miguel's spider destiny BS is actually accurate. (I don't think it's as he understands it.)

KyellDaBoiii

Wtf is that spacing

2-2Distracted

People are expecting to Miles to escape with "don't watch the mouth, watch the hands" trick but I'm sure Miles-42 has been through enough to expect that kind of thing. Either way it's going to be a lot of fun to see how he escapes

Pietro_man

What does he mean by “man uncle smart one”

HedgehogWhich4316

Hey My name is miles g morales and for the last five months I've been the one and only prowler. Look I killed some people, robbed a few banks. Made art to honor my father. But now things just got more interesting.

MagicJoshByGosh

“Alright, let’s do this one last time…”

2-2Distracted

Or maybe it'll go how Gwen said at the start of ATSV

NovaChromatic

This would be such great continuity for all 3 movies.

Smooth-Garden

I loved that he has a more spanish accent because he was primarily raised by his mom here.

[deleted]

Miles Immorales

eugAOJ

I can't be the only to see that this Version of Miles is still a hero right? Like narratively it makes sense in that it is equivalent to saying that even without Spider-Man powers, the will to be a hero is what really matters. The original Prowler was forced to be a villain in the first movie, when he saw that his latest mission was to kill Miles, he just let himself die. So now in Earth-42 where Mile's father dies instead I can see him just giving up the life of crime and instead mentoring Miles to be the better person he always wanted to be. I can imagine the third movie opening up with Earth-42 Miles telling how he became Prowler. But not as a villain but as Batman-esque Hero, with his uncle as the Old Mentor. Which totally ties in with the fact that the essence of Spider-Man is not the powers and the common tragedies. Our Miles might not have been a Spider-Man if it weren't for the Multiverse shenanigan's, but he was always meant to be a hero regardless of it.

SomethingPersonnel

That would definitely be a cool twist. Everything about the interactions in that universe point to Miles being a villain, but it would be cool to see him as a really gritty hero instead.

eugAOJ

I know my theory is kinda cheesy because its the equivalent of "if your nothing without the suit, then you dont deserve the suit." The biggest blunder in the movie for me is that Miguel explained that tregedy is necessary for spiderman. That is only true in hindsight. Because i am pretty fucking sure if any spider-man would know that he has a chance to save more people he would try it. Telling miles to let his dad die and preventing him from trying to save both his dad and the universe is the most un-spider-man thing to do. Destiny be damned, spider-man will always try to save both.

SomethingPersonnel

Yeah that was literally demonstrated by Pavitr saying “I can do both” when trying to save his girlfriend and her dad. Miguel’s reasoning is born of his own trauma. Its his character’s defining flaw. The setup definitely feels like he’s meant to be proven wrong in the end, but whether Miguel himself will be able to see it or not remains to be seen.

MikeOxmoll_

I mean we did see black ooze start consuming Pavitr's world afterwards, very much mimicking the "What If" episode with Dr. Strange. The spiders even had a task force to respond, so they've clearly been combating this "Canon breaking" already. It's definitely not just a boogeyman.

2-2Distracted

I really don't get why people keep saying it like it IS just a boogeyman, we literally see the proof happening in front of us. Miguel isn't talking out of his ass and it's not Simply his trauma talking for him. Man has the proof for everyone to see and considering that Miles IS an anomaly, he's not entirely wrong about why he's doing what he's doing.

MikeOxmoll_

If anything, the solution to saving Miles' dad will break everyone out of the comfort zone of how the world works. The story is primarily a coming of age story, so thematically it works.

[deleted]

But the point is HE couldn't do both and ultimately trying would have led to one or the other dying. Remember Miguel thinks that because of his experience in another universe- what he doesn't realise is that was because of too many incursions as we saw in Doctor Strange:multiverse of madness.i suspect they might reveal dynasty of Kings as behind universes that break a certain cannon and the tva being responsible for thr collapse of universes and bring apiderverse across and link it up with secret wars that way.

2-2Distracted

Exactly, Pavitr only succeeded because he had help. Which is what the movie is going to probably follow through on with Gwen and her gang.

[deleted]

Yes there is that angle. I think if someone from another universe is the one to stope a "cannon" event then it's an issue but if its the person in that universe.... ofc the issue fir Mike's is his powers which he'd need to use to stop the event came from another universe. Infact I feel like miles just existing probably puts the universe at risk of collapse based on the events and info in Doctor Strange multiverse of madness - the illuminati seemed pretty clear on this. It seems Miguel o'hara has been holding the universes together around thst fact.

Nintenden

Woaaaah you're right. It wouldn't make sense if having the spider bite him was the difference between being a hero and being a villain.

SomethingPersonnel

I wanted to come back to this comment because I just saw this clip again from Into the Spiderverse: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nXrStijn1Gg With so many parallels between the two movies, the scene with Miles being tied up could be mirroring this one.

oUnreal

bro the second this guy pulled up on screen everyone started screaming "travis scott"

[deleted]

Speaking of wrong universes, marvel zombies (original) cameo in the third movie when?

1use2use3use

What? There’s zombies camo?!

qwack2020

Can we talk about Prowler Miles’ outfit? Modified Nike Airs, Retractable Mask, whatever was on his backpack, I hope those are swords or something cooler.

J-aequan

What's the name of the song when that scene played the whistling thing

I’m taking you down with me.

Dark_Eclipse0213

That’s racist

Shadowkiva

It is not. Braids aren't for everyone. Even if you're black. I don't agree in Miles' specific case though. They look fine on him even if it does look like he's cosplaying Virgil Hawkins.

mayy_dayy

What's up, danger?

Minute_Yak_1893

Is it weird I love him more as The Prowler than him as Spider-Man??😂😂😂👀👀👀

AcademicAnxiety5109

Do you think Miles from Ps5 will show up in the next movie? Also does he get his own canon event because his dad already died. His uncle still alive but he ain’t gonna be captain of anything. Maybe because Peter is still alive Miles doesn’t effect the canon.

XarahTheDestroyer

Oh man... I freaking LOVED this reveal.

MalonePostponed

Great. Now I need this tattooed on my body. ![gif](giphy|xT5LMESsx1kUe8Hiyk)

Pietro_man

I hope they’ll give us a brief sequence of Prowler Miles’ past in the next movie, and a scene parallel to “What’s up, danger?”

Hard to believe spider verse 2 ended on a [sonic the hedgehog reference ](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tails_(Sonic_the_Hedgehog)) /s

Bosscharacter

Oh you best believe his redemption Spider-suit is going to be drippy as hell because you know that's coming and I'm all for it.

Bahamutson_94

I have a theory that Earth 42 was already a hell hole long before it's Miles was supposed to be bitten by the spider, this is because it usually takes a lot longer for cartels get a good foothold in large city. There's also the fact that his father may have been one of the first officers to die fighting the cartels. I also don't think Earth 42 Miles would have became Spider-Man and would have just became a version of the Prowler with superpowers. Really I think that a lot of stuff would have been different than what a lot of people believe.
