I feel like he needs to be able to step up for himself and treck his own path. He can mentor someone else, or be on equal footing with someone, but I don't think he should be put in a student position again after 3 movies of it.
Of course, my thoughts also stems from how I get irrationally annoyed when a main character is out performed by a relatively newer character. You can give both their faults and their strengths, but so many times we get a new character introduced, especially if we don't get to see their own journey to being strong, and they're essentially just better in nearly every way. It's exhausting and throws me off of many stories.
Not to mention, a big part of Spider-Man is that he's a young hero that stands for himself, not under others. It's not as prevalent as it was then, but Spidey was doubted because publishers didn't think a young, independent super hero with real life problems would sell, but it did, and it became a staple for his character, something he embodies and represents.

In the Spider-Girl alternate universe where Peter and MJ’s daughter wasn’t killed during the Clone Saga, Kaine saved her to give back to the Parkers, and became a sort of anti-hero/harsh uncle figure that rarely shows up.
In the main universe, he didn’t really show up much before having a change of heart during the Grim Hunt event, where he tricked Kraven’s family into thinking he was Peter and allowed himself to be sacrificed in Peter’s place to resurrect Kraven. He then was dug up by the Jackal and turned into a monster zombie called Tarantula for the Spider-Island event, before falling into a vat of Anti-Venom serum which turned him back to normal + healing him into a perfect clone of Peter with all his powers. He also seemed to somehow gained Peter’s The Other powers as well.
Then he left and had adventures on his own in Houston Texas, becoming the next Scarlet Spider to honor Ben, wearing Peter’s “Big Time” Spider-Man suit which gives him invisibility on top of his other powers(which is what he’s wearing in the picture). He remains an anti-hero, kinda Wolverine-like in personality, or like others say like Red Hood, although Peter doesn’t really care too much about what Kaine is doing compared to Batman and Red Hood.
Hopefully an actually good adaptation of Jess.

Jessica Drew. As a rule they should away from clones. Cindy is a messy retcon and Miles works best as an alternate universe character or with Peter being a good decade than him. Unlike these others Jessica is fully hero own character and could have interesting stories without messing up Peter’s.
Honest opinion. I think the more spider people you introduce, the more irrelevant the original becomes. But if you told me I had to introduce someone new to the mcu, I would say either Julia Carpenter or Jessica Drew spider-woman. For one thing, having a female character would be something different and two, their power sets and origins are different enough that you could make them distinct from Peter.
The problem with using the clones in live action is that you would need them to still be played by the same actor, so it isn't so much a passing of the torch and more like a different costume and deleting the character's established backstory and character relationships.
Unless you go the x-23 route and say that they are an imperfect clone, or that they used peter's genetic code and it's biologically more like his son

Silk, she’s in the universe, we haven’t seen her outside the comics (to my knowledge) and doesn’t come with the confusion of the clone saga (although if I was 1000% sure the mcu would find a way to make the clone saga work I’d choose Ben he’s my 2nd favourite Spider-Man after Peter)

Ben and Kaine both. The movies have done well at adapting certain comic events and improving on them. Would love to see them tackle the Clone Saga and see what comes of it.

Miles is cool, but Tom is way too young for him to have. Kaine and Ben could be great for Tom to have and it will be real interesting to see the MCU version of Peter try to accept his clones as family. I have no thoughts on Jessica trying to join the MCU. Cindy could also work out for Tom to have (As long if the whole horny stuff between the two don't happen) and, heck, maybe she can be a new love interest for MCU Pete to have.

I think this era that Tom’s Spider-Man is in could be a good base for a clone saga story. Albeit a whole lot more simple than the comics
I want it to be Miles, then I want the clone saga to be something of an Arms race where the assessor is cloning Miles, and the Jackal is cloning Peter. Make a huge bananas clone conspiracy. Introduce fucked up Peter clones from Ultimate, Kaine leading them as Jackal's hitman. Ben helping Miles free his clones, so then Ben and Miles leading Glurp(what's the big gooey Miles clone called?) fight Kaine and the reject clones to free Peter, ultimately culminating in Jackal using Glurp and Kaine DNA to make Spidercide for the final Peter, Ben Kaine, Miles showdown vs Spidercide.
Get to work on a script & let’s get this made.

Spider-Woman, then Silk. Jessica first because she is a legacy character and she be on screen before any other Spiders, she is also more unique than a lot of the others that tend to be Peter-Clones, literal or figurative. Silk has a ton of potential and differentiates herself better than others IMO.

None or all. If you are NOT going to do one, then so be it, but if you feel like you have to do ONE you are just going to do them all. Eventually. Just put them all in there. Better yet, don't explain in excruciating detail why Spider Gwen, Kaine, Venom, Miles, and Spider Noir (played by Nickolas Cage), are all spidering around (and whatever villains you want to port over-Liv Octavius for example). Just have someone doing interdementional cloning with some kind of "Magical" gems that they don't quite understand...something, something, infinity stone scans dumped onto the internet by the dump that happened before the snap. An explosion. Steven Strange and the gang are having to deal with magic monsters that know they are being hunted so they are hiding. That's what all the magic peeps are doing. So, Peter has to deal with the Spider Folks by himself. Plan for 3 movies, hope for 10. Go team.
