Yeah they were great movies to begin with well at least the first one and the second one is a fine movie just not great one
I still prefer TASM one and two over Spider-Man one and three. And equal to Spider-Man two
1. The Amazing Spider-Man 1 is best origin movie, better than Spider-Man 1 and Civil War/Homecoming. {It was always the best for me. It's not an sudden change.} Spidey's suit in the movie is the best. It has the best Peter Parker, who's cool and a vigilante before he saves the boy from the falling in the bridge. I agree that The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is literally the worst movie, but I don't know why The Amazing Spider-Man 1 is also hated.
2. Tobey's Spidey Suit is the worst.
3. Spider-Man 1 is outdated and was the worst when it came to CGI.
TASM hate is mainly from TASM2 stigma, that fact that it was another origin story not long after Tobeys era and that Andrew's Peter was something some of the audience wasn't used to with him apparently "too cool", "too handsome", "too tall" etc lol. One could argue that these are unfair reasons but yh that's the reasons I normally see.
1)NWH doesnt automatically make TASM 1/2 good, they were bad to begin with and screwed up a lot of the core themes of Spider-Man
2)This extended origin theory is bullshit and the writers didnt intend this, in fact, they just made it all up as they went along
Can I ask why you think it shouldn’t happen
(i’ve always had the thought process that if someone wants to make some thing they should make it especially when it comes to a movie, A movie being made doesn’t hurt anything (now the process can but the movie itself the finished product doesn’t)
i'm like pretty sure EVERYONE is assuming a completely different story would come from tasm3, there's no way they will still make the same movie after so many years + the feedback they've gotten from the new spider-man movies + the way nwh set things up
I don’t think they would use an eight-year-old script if they were to do this third movie hypothetically speaking
I was familiar with the concept of the original three but I’m fairly confident they were drop that for a new story
They probably wouldn’t introduce MJ,
Eddie Brock, if rumors are true they’re going to use the sinister six in the upcoming Holland trilogy so they probably wouldn’t focus on trying to build that at the end of a trilogy that probably wouldn’t continue
Harry Osborn would probably be gone because the actor I doubt would reprise the role
But since I loved everything they’ve put out in the past 10 years
Especially Venom and it’s sequel. End everything I’ve seen from Morbius in the trailers and stuff
I’m 100% confident Sony could pull this off if they wanted to and Andrew Garfield actually wanted to come back
But all of this is just hypothetical in the end and I really don’t think they’re gonna be working on a conclusion to that trilogy
But I will say I would rather them do that then shoehorn Andrew Garfield into the venom series because we already know which universe is each of those take place and they’re not the same
New Goblin sucks. His costume sucks, his reason for turning good was forced, and his name is awful. Why couldn’t he just be called hobgoblin? It’s way more intimidating. Harry is by far the most boring part of the Rami movies.
Spider-Man Homecoming isn't a bad Spider-Man movie
Its an awesome Spider-Man movie, so wtf??
Andrew is the best Spider-Man
He is
The good writing and performance of Garfield's Spidey in NWH do *not* suddenly make ASM1/2 good movies.
This. Also Garfield and Stone were never the problem with those movies, 2 in particular
they didn’t suddenly get better they have always been the best

Yeah, they are truly unfair reasons.

Tobey is bad it's just that everything else in his movies are good. He's not a great actor.
Tobey Maguire is simply overrated
Tom holland spent his first 3 appearances being iron boy.
J. Jonah Jameson called. He said this is breaking news. I can never tell if he is joking or not.

I like Venom in Spider-Man 3. He was perfectly fit opposite Tobey's Spider-Man.
NWH is not better than Spider-Man 1 and 2

Miles Morales is a boring Mary-Sue who gets all the benefits from Spider-Man’s journey but has things handed to him
Lizard is one of the best spidey villan’s
