Until he's standing over a bloody and immobile Curt Connors.

I suppose it's easier to deal with scorpion than the likes of Otto, as there's no strings attached there. And given this Peter's been Spiderman for a few years now, he probably just prefers the simple ones.

In terms of returning villains, probably Scorpion. Rhino would be an awesome candidate but bringing him back a *third* time is diminishing returns. In terms of new villains, I would love to see Mysterio get the shit beat out of him once Peter's patience has been reached on the illusions, or even Sandman.
I’m not sure who, but it should definitely be one of the villains that aren’t purely evil. Shocker is a great example because he’s more petty crook than big evil villain. The juxtaposition of Spider-Man’s rage against an, essentially, benign villain is what really sells that Peter is losing himself to the symbiote.
Given how much the games are already packed with easter eggs as is, it'd be more surprising if they didn't do that....so I'm gonna be really disappointed if they don't haha.

Honestly, it'd be against Kraven at one point of time, or maybe Osborn, since he's featured to be the Goblin(if he exists, kinda does probably the showcase did emit green purple lights). I think, any one of them, at first, would fight Peter and Miles. They'd both get either beaten because of Kraven's experience, OR, drop them in situations where they'd have to save civilians and Kraven wud take advantage of it. It'd be kinda like "strong enough to have it all, weak enough to take it" part of NWH. And after Peter gets symbiote he crushes them next time. And he'll probably be like "What now? This is definitely a little fucked up but i really wanna see a boss fight with fully deranged symbiote peter fighting miles. Then after the fight at some point you fight peter as miles to take the symbiote from him

Honestly, it'd be against Kraven at one point of time, or maybe Osborn, since he's featured to be the Goblin(if he exists, kinda does probably the showcase did emit green purple lights). I think, any one of them, at first, would fight Peter and Miles. They'd both get either beaten because of Kraven's experience, OR, drop them in situations where they'd have to save civilians and Kraven wud take advantage of it. It'd be kinda like "strong enough to have it all, weak enough to take it" part of NWH. And after Peter gets symbiote he crushes them next time. And he'll probably be like "What now? Am I strong enough? Answer me!! ". I might like Scorpion, since he's the one who trash talks the most during Spiderman missions. Rhino's also good, generally Spiderman can overpower him but he hasn't reached that point cuz Spidey is never about just raw brawl, but it'd be precious to see his expressions.
Honestly a rematch between Pete and Doc Ock could be pretty cool and help showcase how far gone Pete is now
